Power Book 3 Raising Kanan Season 1 is going to centre around a young Kanan Stark who's trying to find his place in the world. We're going to see him having a real close relationship with his mother Raquel Thomas but there will be two sides to their relationship, one with love and another where she teaches and mentors him in the game. Kanan is going to be a hustler, but similar to Tariq St Patrick he's not going to have an easy path. Marvin Thomas his uncle will help him and mentor him in the way of the streets and there's many different facets that he will take from his mother Raquel, his uncles Marvin and Lou-Lou as well as Jukebox. Season 1 of Power Book 3 Raising Kanan is going to be gritty and raw being set in the 1990's in South Jamaica Queens New York and it's one that's going to tell the story of more than just Kanan, but his family, their whole back story and how Kanan became the character that we saw in Power.

Maybe, just maybe, Raq, had higher hopes for Kanan than the street's, the way Ghost had for Riq. Perhaps Kanan, going against the grain, is what causes the difficulties in their relationship...the way Ghost & Riq 's drifted apart.

Not gonna lie, i´m a bit nervous, this is the first Power show with a new showrunner. Unilike main Power and Power Book 2, Courtney Kemp is not at the helm. Sascha Penn is going to be the showrunner on this one.

my best favorite characterrrrr yesss ! and i think it was his mother who made his kanan be ruthless and fearless... And there's one more thing I'm curious about, is there anyone living in family's his ? Could his uncles still be alive ?

I 100% think so. It may not necessarily be his uncles who are alive but I genuinely think come the end of Raising Kanan one if not a few big characters will still be alive and the chance for a potential cross over

And season 5 was one of my favourites too, Dre's rise and Ghost, Tommy and Kanan working together made that season what it was and to top it off Kanans death and Angela's death were two big moments
