Safety Information:
Do not practice this breathwork during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions, should always consult a medical professional before starting breathwork. These breathing exercises are a guide only, you should always listen to your own body and not push yourself, if you feel unwell STOP. Never practice breathing exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath, or in any other circumstance where the loss of consciousness could result in bodily harm. Deep breathing may cause tingling sensations, a ringing in the ears, and/or light-headedness. These are normal responses and are no cause for alarm. If you faint, however, you have gone too far and should take it more slowly next time.

If y'all are having trouble on the long holds, it gets easier once you've done it a few times. And if you're having trouble getting yourself to relax enough (you have to be relaxed to be able to do it) just think about something else. If you start thinking "I cant breathe" that'll send signals to your chest and abdominal muscles and they'll start tensing up

Having been a ‘breather’ for 3.5 years I have to say I like this one. Done many breathwork variations, but having reached peaks with them all, I hit 2 minutes first time for 1st round with this - nice change for me after hitting 4 minutes at points and crashing down to 30 seconds at points. Appreciate your uploads- and saw your TRE vid; been on that one a few years too due to pain. Keep breathing 🙏

I DID IT! I finally held my breath for the full 90 seconds! After years of heavy and screaming (for music, I still scream but with better techniques instead of from the throat), I have started to take care of my lungs. I know it’s not the big of a accomplishment but, I used to barely make it to 30 to 40 seconds. I honestly thought I would never make it the full 90 seconds and accepted I would smoke and use other substances that were damaging my voice all my life; I would never learn how to sing or control my breathing. I am glad (one of my favorite Cream songs) I contradicted my acceptance. I could feel smile on my face grow as soon as I heard the narrators voice.

Joseph, check this out: (when you have about 45 min to an hour) when you are really having a craving, sit or lie down and really feel/ pay attention to where in your body this craving is located. It may be a localized sensation or all over your body. Do this to the degree that you could describe it to a stranger. Ex. It's like a weird downward pulling, right behind my shoulder blades, or it feels like a shot put/ lead ball is right in the center of my chest and it's sucking everything towards its and it feels like it weighs about 15 lbs. Once you have calibrated or found the limits of and intensity of the craving... sit with that energy as you would sit with a dying loved one, after the time for talking has ended. I bet you would lock eyes, if they were looking, and hold their hand and STAY with them in that moment. If they were afraid I bet you'd hold them. I also bet the mental bs would be gone and you would be in a full state of meditation on your loved one. That's the kind of attention/ energy the cravings need. The craving energy has lost its way in a sense and needs the light of your consciousness to find it's way home. I have found that as consciousness -- attention to the sensations of cravings, fear, anxiety etc. -- witnesses, perceives and explores in silent lucidity (without mental commentary) that things change. Hope this helps.

Question: when you do the fast breathing, do you inhale through mouth or nose? Please explain .. it sounds as if the fast inhale is done through mouth and exhale as well. Is this correct?

I tried both but I tend to breath in through the nose and breath out through the mouth. I think it is true that we are capable of Investigating reality for ourselves and find out what serves better and when. Sunny and warm greetings from Greece

Athanassios Triantafyllou thank you for your reply! It makes sense. I have now tried both as well and they are just different. They work in different ways to release different type of emotions. Greetings from the USA 😊
