se debe desconectar el sensor de oxigeno? o se puede mantener? veo que algunos ponen un optimizador de oxigeno, es necesario hacer eso o dejar conectado el original?

Should the oxygen sensor and cable be disconnected if I install a full system? or can it be maintained? I see that some put an oxygen optimizer, but in my country Mexico I can't get it since the one I bought does not come with the O2 optimizer, is it necessary to do that or can I leave the original connected, both the contact and the one that goes in the exhaust pipe?

I know this is an old video, but I’m gonna throw it out there. I have a PCV and Autotune, neither came with the O2 optimizer. Can I leave the OEM connector alone or do I need to plug an optimizer to it? Is it something you guys have for sale by itself?

what you use for the throttle position connector? and why you use this? there's not exist fuse for connection between pc5 and tps?

+RedGhost1990 Less than 5hp for sure. Consensus on the forums is about 3hp when combined with a full exhaust system. Not really worth it, IMO. You'll spend around $1000 for a negligible gain, though I'm sure the sound will be killer!

@@Ghost590 3hp on a litre bike is a negligible gain but on a r3 its 10 % races are won or lost there do you want to race against the guy who has a 10% hp advantage ?

Hey everyone so I'm planing on swapping a Yoshimura R77 Full exhaust but I'm wondering if the PCV is the way to go. I've been reading a lot and it seems that this a must have unit if I'm going to mess with air fuel mixtures.. I'm just wondering if I'm heading on the right track. Thanks everyone!!!

+victor anzueto If you are going with a full exhaust you should absolutely do a PCV. Without it you are running extremely lean and you will lose mid-range power, amongst other issues. Keep in mind that you are only going to get about 3hp with a full exhaust and a PCV.

When are you guys making a fuel controller for the Yamaha r3? Also Is it possible to make a fuel controller for a cars fuel injectors, or do i still need to reflash the ecu? (I Know you only make motorcycle parts but you would get alot more customers and money for expanding your products, In my honest opinion.)

Dude, it IS made to control the fuel. It tells your EFI different information, to control the amount of fuel put in.

+Austin Huizar ik that but the pc5 also controls the ignition and cuts power for a quick shifter also has a bunch of other features i don't need. I only need the fuel controller to make the bike run rich or middle when i install a kn airfilter with a tbr exhaust.

+Andy K It does not need to be empty Just have a rag or couple of Paper Towels in your hand positioned under the Quick Release in case a few drops come out.

bangyahead1 There must not be a performance gain, otherwise they probably would have replied promptly as they claim. Ive seen another PCV install video and the guy said "about a 10% performance gain. so out of a 42hp bike, youll get an extra 4.2hp or so gain. Not really worth a measely 4.2hp for $500+, imo. In Australia the Akropovic carbon fiber slip-on costs $649. It's not really worth $1150+ to me. Might was well spend that money on a better bike.

+bangyahead1 well some of us ride these on purpose, meaning we like the small bikes, I have had a cbr 600 before, a ninja 500, some cruisers etc, but wanted a bike that is reliable, smaller for flickability, and affordable fun that you can actually afford to put on tons of miles (other bikes eat the tires). I just wish we had a 400 4 cylinder Super Sport available where I live that was newer

Ive seen clips wjere the poster was talking about getting a measely 4,000 miles from a set of Diablo Rosso II's. The R3 will eat tires too.. LIke you, I too, have had big bikes and I love the R3, so dont get me wrong there. Personally, i consider it to be illogical to spend $7,000 AUD on an R3, then spend $1,150 on the pipe, and $500 on a small performance gain. To me that is money better spent on a better bike.. Youre now looking at $8,650 spent on the R3. Maybe you're just not picking up what I'm putting down. Then you upgrade the tires.... You're now looking at over $9,000. That kind of money will buy a bike with alot more balls than the R3 will ever have. It is illogical.

Yeah where I am the r3 is just sooo much cheaper is part of it for me, but I am lucky, where I am at I guess when I comes to cost

Here, with putting everything on the bike I would pay only 6000, but the other bike I like are about 11000 at minimum

So I got a yoshimura full exhaust system and dyno jet power commander V coming in the mail.. nearly a $1000 later and I'm nervous as shit to mess with all that stuff. :/

may not seem much gain but that .3 faster 0-60 mph so if your r3 can go 0-60 in 5.5 sec now it's 5.2 sec 0-60 mph for racing yes 379.95$+tax worth every penny.
