I knew I was doing something wrong only benching 150 lbs for a couple years. I was setting up on the bench face down. I was digging my face into the bench first and then my crotch. With these changes my bench went up 50 lbs!

It is so maddening. Every time I post a bench video, I get endless crap for benching with an arch. They say it is cheating and unsafe... all sorts of nonsense, and I pretty much do it exactly the way you are coaching. I have a more pronounced arch, and my feet are farther under me, but that is because my dimensions are different.

Injured my shoulders in chest after hitting 205lbs 1 month of no gym then gain my strength back hit 210lbs and injured myself due too bad form since everytime i bench i feel t in my shoulders i just wanna hit 225lbs

I think I'd prefer to have a bench pr of 100lbs doing it correctly rather than what roided up powerlifers do. "benching" like someone with scoliosis with a 3 inch range of motion
