These videos are an eye-opener for anyone wanting to start and successfully complete any serious auto repair work or project. I always liked doing my own work on my vehicles, engine rebuild, repair a four speed truck trans with granny gear, remove and replace front clip, cab and bed on a 63 chevy half-ton, the list of work I've done is incredibly long. First, most important, a decent sized garage to work in, mine was 22 by 32 feet, always have the right and high quality tools, good shop manuals, and I always had one or two other vehicles to drive so I could take my time with the project vehicle. You are gonna get dirty, greasy, and probably will get very familiar with local boneyards. I liked working on vehicles, really. My regular job was 40hrs a week, Registered Nurse Case Manager for an Insurance Company. Older now, retired, wish I could do it all over again.

Rebuilt the suspension I mean everything in it including the steering even if it was in good condition I changed it uppers lowers control arms , tie rids you name it a new center link , shocks , it rode and drove like brand new steer it one finger at 80 mph. On a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust.........the color combo on the Tempest is absolutely super! I'm not sure why destroying your back tires is the "in" thing but I'm not rich enough to do that.....I'd like the see the excessive burnouts, wide-body cars, and "patina" (read old shit) paint jobs go out of style.... Oh, yeah, the cartoon wheels and rubber band tires on some of these rigs are ridiculous....run over a cigarette butt and ruin your rims. I'm sure I run against the grain here but I'm 100% function over bling.
