thank you for posting this video honestly saved me so much frustration with the stupid instructions they give you i still have to do the drawers but iv done all the frame etc. iv never followed any of ikeas instruction booklets with any units but i was always wanting this but the thought of building it put me off but bought it anyway glad i did now i’m away to do the drawers

@@clairej406 That's fine you will never see bottom of the drawer if you load the drawer full. Regarding structure there is no problem

Great video really helpful! I didn't use the IKEA instructions at all and did this all by myself. The IKEA instructions recommend 2, probably for safety reasons but it's not necessary. Appreciate this video. THANK YOU!

Thank you - your videos are brilliant! I have a question - is the drawer finish the same as the Pax Grimo doors as we want to use this chest of drawers to fill a gap. (We have no Ikea stores in Tasmania so cannot check the finish ourselves!)

I just watched this video to figure out how to get rid of that annoying piece of wood between the two tiny drawers on top. I want to swap them out for 1 big drawer because those small ones are just not cutting it for me. Like, who even needs those tiny drawers? So, I'm on a mission to upgrade them.

Hey, i just built this and followed everything correctly but there is a issue with 1 of the 3 plastic hinges as when i open the mirror the left side scrapes against the top of the drawer and makes a clicking sound and its also less of the gap then the other sides, i have tried everything to see whats wrong but it looks normal, anyone else know how to fix this ?

Should the smooth side of the back panel face in or out? I think you said it doesn't matter because both sides are rough, but mine came with a smooth side.

I don’t understand Why on the video at 4:26 there is all the outside part of the little wood sticks painted in white but in my malm there is only one large part + one side painted in each wood sticks, I don’t want to make mistakes but I don’t know if the unpainted part should look down or up

Top and bottom one should be all white, middle 5 slime panels outer side side white inner side plane. Position all white sides on the outer visible side. If you have anything different then in this video just position all white parts facing front so once assembled all unit will be white when looking from the front all other panels if can't see them doesn't matter as long the holes matching
