It's don't feel that much stab resistant.. as there is still chance to get stabbed in the lower abdomen as the hand has more reach towards lower abdomen naturally and I have seen people get stabbed in lower abdomen most often..

It protects “vital organs” meaning if you get stabbed and dont bleed out before help arrives, you will survive. It protects your heart, lungs and stomach(You might be surprised, but a stab there is almost certain death within a few minutes because of the acid) wich are the most important.

@@sylvarnuovis7240 only happens if someone knocked you down or your are sleeping and someone stabs the hell out of you, then they mostly likely stab you near the heart or if they are too close to you and you are not reactive at and stand there like a freaking doll, see real circumstances are totally different than what is being showed here, go search your police database and you will learn when people are in a stand position either they get sliced or they get stabbed in the abdomen because that's easy then stabbing someone in the heart all while they are standing. You know when prisoners shank other inmate they do it near lower abdomen all while they are standing because it's easy and quick. Have a nice day.

@@sylvarnuovis7240 Stomach acid doesn't affect our vital organs it's not that reactive get your facts corrected, it's very very very dilute solution of acid that helps enzymes secreted along with it to break down the food.

I wonder if something like a well built rapier would be able to penetrate the armour, or if a large one of them chained metal spikes would be able to damage the torso significantly enough against the armour, also the armour plating is only at the front, so is the vest largely innefective at other areas like the shoulders and back?

maybe make a more flexible material (perhaps less protective) but nonetheless protective material to eliminate the gap between the belt and bottom of vest. at the very least make it slash resistant
