Friends, I want to share my new purchase of Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue. How did I come to this model? Initially, as a 90% of the forum, I did not particularly attach attention to this model. Back in 2019, I stood in line for Batman / Pepsi and almost took the Hulk (the spouse was dissuading then he cost 800r) I wanted something bright and unusual, to add to black Sabam and White Ostra. At Milgauss, honestly did not even look, did not enter the link on the Rolex website and did not watch the photo and I did not know that there is a model of the Milgauss with Z-Blue dial, but everything changed when I saw it. You can talk about this model for a long time, and it is written about her I think not enough, so I will tell you what she hooked me. The first thing that is striking is the green sapphire glass, the technology of its production is so difficult that Rolex did not even apply the crown on it at the rate of 6 because to fake it is simply economically not profitable. The glass is unique in addition to color, it minimizes the glare and gives the dial overflowing shades from emerald green to dark blue. Studying photos and the video I wanted to see this model in the magnificent, but as it turned out they were not available anywhere, the model is very in demand as any model from the professional line. After an N-amount of time, I managed to agree with Mercury and I got this model in this color, for which they respect. Z-Blue Dial This is just something - an exclusive and self-sufficient, and the orange arrow in the form of lightning makes even more paints. To be honest, when I look at the watch dial of the clock, I don't care how much time now, I just want to look at it and consider details and colors. This dial reminded me of the Caribbean islands, where the sea has shades of the 7 seas, from the azure turquoise to dark blue, if anyone went on a yacht on these seas to understand me. The orange arrow in the form of lightning shows how they charged this watch, they like cryptonite attract their attention and at the same time the clock is located in a discreet building and only slightly give in the direction of the sports ruler. The housing of the clock is 40 mm height 13 mm, due to the beveled Break, it is easy to fit under the cuffs of the shirt, but in my opinion this watch is not worth hiding their place on the open wrist about what we are talking to polished to the brilliance of the bezel and the central parts of the Oyster bracelet. The clock is very comfortable their weight is the same as Sabov about 153 grams, sit on hand perfectly, the size of 40 mm is perfect for me, and the fastener Easylock allows you to change the bracelet size of 5 mm in 1 click. Very comfortable thing, I even didn't use it on Sab as often as here. What a MilGauss attracted me with his back lid. It like a Faraday Cell protects the clock from magnetic waves, a kind of doll with a double rear cover. Unusual, but an interesting decision, which is probably not so relevant due to the development of new technologies. The back cover has engraving Rolex Milgauss and crowns in four sides of the light. If you go to the heart of the clocks in them, the manufactory mechanism is installed in time 3131 by 48 hours with auto-sowing. The clock is made as securely as possible, thick sapphire glass, double cover, thick walls of the case, all fundamentally, the waterfront is 100 m. The crown is comfortable and it is easy to twist as in gloves and without. If you summarize, these hours are ideal for spring - summer, for sunny weather, when you want to stand out and stay noticeable, young charismatic creative people, doctors, engineers, pilots and everyone who often contacts with magnetic frames or similar devices, this watch the stars are flashing little on the wrists (Daniel Ambasador's stars (Daniel Craig Ambasador Omega is a visual example), there are practically no fakes on them, but they recognizable, they just give a light beam at the end of the tunnel only positive emotions and most importantly, they will complement any collection and believe them It will be difficult to replace something, the hours are distinctive, self-sufficient and unique, especially in such a conservative brand like Rolex.

You hit the right spot regarding why I’m hunting now the Milgauss and it’s the green Cristal. I have read a lot and it’s very very difficult to produce and that’s the reason why you don’t have fakes Milgausses out there … I believe it’s the only Rolex which has not been faked 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Omega post 2017 can withstand 15000 gauss +. Way better resistance to magnetic fields. You could wear that near an MRI machine. You can't do that with any other watch.

Opted for the classic black one with clear crystal. Green or blue is too fashion for me. Btw, I have an Electric Blue, but that's the name of the Omega 2255.80. What I do like about the black Milgauss is its simplicity, no date no cyclops, all hour indices in white, and no small numerals like you have on the GV versions next to the hour marks. The heft and the orange hand lifts the watch from the boredom you might feel with some OP or Datejusts. And the thickness is compensated by a moderate 40 mm. With its heft and dark grey, the watch remotely feels/looks a bit like the PP 5990. Well done, Rolex.

ALL new Omega Aqua Terra Master Chronometer watches are wiping the floor with Milgauss' ass and that's simply A FACT and NOT a matter of personal preference. The equivalent of piting a Rolex Milgauss against ANY Omega Master Chronometer certified watch would be putting any watch that is marketed as a diver's watch but fails to keep water out after a recreational dip in the pool AGAINST a many tried and tested diver's watch (i.e. Rolex Submariner) or any ISO 6425 officially certified diver's watch. The Rolex Milgauss was a PURPOSE-BUILT tool watch in the same spirit of why and how the Rolex Submariner came to be. Unfortunately (because otherwise it had quite a few things going for it) for the Milgauss, nowdays this "solution"/design has been rendered obsolete by the rapid changes in our magnetic-field packed technological every-day environment (which is only going to get more dense with time), and at best can be characterized as seriously flawed (similar to slapping a Bant-Aid on a assault rifle round wound and expecting it to heal), it can't even compete and here's the proof kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m9Kha9Npv7ynhZ8.html Because of THAT, in my eyes the Rolex Milgauss is almost as cheesy as the Omega James Bond editions are. It's the equivalent of opting for a not particularly tasteful off-roader and justifying it's purchase by wishfully thinking that because it is marketed as an adventurous and rugged vehicle it will easily handle any off-road activity but finding out that in reality as soon as it strays off the asphalt it can't even carry itself anymore (magnets/magnetic fields able to stop/greatly reduce the accuracy of modern watches are literally everywhere kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gbp5i5SDp9y2Y5s.html). Can any of you imagine a Rolex Submariner WITHOUT a diving depth rating? Would the Rolex Submariner even make sense to you as a watch, much more so become the icon of a watch that it is if it wasn't able to handle sea diving succesfully? BTW the vast majority of people wearing a wrist-watch today will NEVER NEED a watch with a water resistance rating above 50m while at the same time EVERY SINGLE ONE of those people is CONSTANTLY exposed to magnetic fields of various flux densities that at the very best case REPEATEDLY compromise the accuracy of their timepieces. To paraphrase, not everyone is a diver however all of us "dive" inside magnetic fields, occasionaly and without knowing it in "deep" ones too; we may not be able to see them but we're certainly "swiming" in their "murky waters" constantly. Oddly enough, water resistance depth ratings on watches and diving/rugged-looking/sports watches that never even find themselves inside a pool are the bees-knees while almost no one ever pauses to rethink that this paradox of paying EXTRA for a superlative "useless" feature and skimping on a genuinely usefull feature, only serves to prove the utter stupidity of many of "our conscious" tastes/preferences/choices. Luckily we have the marketing departments of all the major watch brands to blame for that and don't forget that we haven't even touched the "subject" of the necessity/usefulness of helium escape valves. Just try to keep in mind that actual divers (including saturation divers) have foregone diving watches in favour of specialised diving computers since a long time ago; no real diver uses a diving watch anymore, diving watches are solely for the general public and those who aspire to the IMAGE and BRAVADO of an adventurous diver. All watch brands are purposely and deceptively employing the water resistance depth ratings on their watches and have their robust/adventurous looks pose as an indicative aspect of the reliability and quality of their new amazing toys; however none of them even mention how susceptible any of their offerings is to the omnipresence of magnetic fields. Coming up with a water-resistant design for a wrist-watch and mass producing it has long become extremely easy and cheap however making a mass produced timepiece invulnerable to the magnetic fields ALL OF US NOWADAYS interact with on a daily basis is far more difficult and costly. Sports watches take the lion's share in global wrist-watch sales for decades and divers' watches take the lion's share of that. The entire global watch industry has been riding the wave of the "adventurous-sexy-always ready for anything you may through at it-diver's wristwatch" or watches that are mere tweeks of the same exact formula for decades; it survived and blossomed riding on the back of that wave. Has it also matured along the way? In my opinion DEFINETELY NOT! All the major watch brands have been for decades selling us on one of the least imaginative to engineer and design, the least costly to manufacture and the most irrelevant "feature" of their offerings while at the same time saying and doing next to nothing regarding one of the most important aspects in all of their products which is how their accuracy is affected by the omnipresent magnetic fields that NOWADAYS encopass all of us. And they WILL keep milking the same cow for as long as they can, simply because that's the path with the highest profit margins for them. So unless and until a sizable percentage of their potential clientele educates themselves on what truly constitutes a rugged, dependable, reliable and high-performing timepiece IN ITS CURRENT ENVIRONMENT, the vast majority of the offerings they churn out is going to revolve around the same souped-up misguided allure/illusion of quality/luxury. A wristwatch is above and before anything else a tool for accurately measuring time. If it fails to successfully serve that mission in ITS CURRENT environment then it becomes a gimmick, a souvenir from a long-gone era, a fetish or an ornament regardless of how "adventurous", reliable, refined and sexy it might have initially appeared to be; and that holds true for quartz and mechanical wrist-watches alike within their respective documented and accepted "tolerances".
