Pre war cars - piston machining fixture

3 жыл бұрынI made a fixture to hold the pistons for machining then made another one since the first didn't work. And there was a small welding incident!

Yes, I just went out to find some water to cool the part down. There wasn't anything else flammable except the cloth there (and the welding helmet apparently!) and it was on top of a steel plate. And I do have fire extinguishers in there. Luckily this was small enough and not really flaming enough so I could just pick it up and take it outside and dowse it.
