Billy Owens would absolutely eat in todays NBA as a big PG. He’d have spacing. He had a modern game. Ahead of his time.

38:10-38:12, there it is! Brian Williams (Bison Dele) hugs his half-brother Miles Dabord. The man, who would eventually be suspected of murdering him about ten years later in the South Pacific. Check out the documentary "Paradise Lost" for the scoop on this tragedy. Rest in Peace Bison and forever Bear Down!!!!

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. In 1990-91, I was watching a Washington State at Arizona game, and I saw a "guy who looked like James Edwards, but left-handed" on Arizona, and for DECADES I thought that was Ed Stokes! Looking back, I think it was Brian Williams (Bison Dele) who I was watching, that Saturday afternoon! In 1989-90, Rob Corkrum DOMINATED as a high school senior at Shadle Park, leading them to the state title. One year later, with Washington State, he had 0 points, 4 fouls. A reminder of moving from one level to another.

The only colombian (im from that country by the way) picked on a nba draft, was selected in this year (Alvaro Teheran by the sixers, 44th pick 2nd round) sadly he never played a single game in the nba, he passed away eight months ago...

The ‘96 draft was a great draft too…Allen Iverson went #1, and a steal at #13 went to the Hornets, Kobe Bryant, who was traded to the Lakers. Great move by Jerry West, even though I’m not a Kobe fan, but I must give credit where credit is due, Kobe was a one of a kind player. HOF shooting guard and three point legend Ray Allen went 5th., Marcus Camby went #2, Peja Stojaković went #14, and HOF point guard Steve Nash slid all the way down to #15. What a star studded draft! Wow!

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. 1991 was definitely an overall poor draft. The Sonics should have taken Stanley Roberts. The name "Rich King," I KNEW that he was Caucasian. And, I KNEW that he wouldn't pan out in the NBA, unfortunately.
