June 02 2020, I'd did this change over. Works great, fast and easy...like a ladie. After 10hrs of gasoline use propain and NG worked great. I recommend you do this. God bless the Republic 🇺🇸

Thanks for sharing. Every year we have some kind of record breaking weather and everyone needs a portable generator because everything in the modern day home runs on electric. Mine is a firman 9400 watt duel fuel. Gasoline and propane. I haven't yet had to use it for a power outage but I know it's not a question of if we have a power outage but a question of when we'll have a power outage. Some people say they can't afford a generator but I allways tell them to put one in lay away and make small payments on it. Chances are they'll have it out before a power outage. God bless.

Hi you don't need to drain your carb. Just shut off the fuel and let your generator run out of fuel when you shut it down. No draining needed.

Did you figure out that the bowl drain was extended by the little rubber tube that runs down next to the gas regulator on the bottom left side. It is moved there for your convenience due to the fact that, as you pointed out, it would be difficult to access on the right side of the carb bowl. Also I agree that the price of this over a conversion kit is sooo much better. Like $40 buck instead of $165! Thanks for taking the time to share

Hi sir, great video. I am looking to do the same on a new predator 8750 generator. I see the updated description that it ran on Natural Gas. Do i need to purchase anything else to convert the gas nipple on the regular to connect my home natural gas line that you recommended.

How do you actually have this hooked to your house for natural gas ..Did you come off the meter or did you tie into something else

Hi, I just did this conversion! Thanks for the help! It just STINKS really badly. I used a small grill regulator and it worked great on the little tanks, but I switched over to my 600 pound home tank and now it smells SO bad like exhaust fumes... almost like a gas smell. I'm wondering if the new grill regulator I bought is pushing too much propane and I'm running rich or if the big tank propane just burns more smelly. Any ideas???

I looked at the Amazon Carburetor and i did not see the switch to change to propane or ng.Is the one you got from Amazon?

How about an update did you switch it over to natural gas are you running it on propane, how does it run, is there any issues with it, what would you have done different? I'm getting ready to do this conversion myself and I'd like to hear from someone who's done it

Ever ran it on Natural Gas? How'd it perform? I was reading description and it says CNG instead of NG was just checking!

You may want to change the camera angle next time. Talking to yourself doesn't help in a video . Just say it loud enough for everyone to hear. Still, a good first video.
