He really needs to take a long look at himself because he’s been poor for a while. Odegaard was the only one trying. The only one pressing for his life. As Arsenal fans I think we deserve this. We overestimated our team and underestimated Bayern. We have proven over the last 4 years that this group of players and the manager are not clutch in big moments and don’t have the nouse to get over the line, hence the reason we’ve not won anything since 2020. Serious conversations need to be had in the summer if we end up trophy less again

Uncomfortable conversations need to happen. Arteta needs an upgrade on the wingers as they are VERY replaceable. Martinelli has 0 IQ, runs into blind alleys. Just a kick and run merchant with bad technique. Saka when it really matters disappears. Everyone tells me about his G-A, I’m all about the eye test and he isn’t that good to what he’s being rated at, at all. Basic winger with no skill. Don’t get me started on Havertz lol. One of the many overrated players by our fanbase, guy that no right foot and not clinical. If they wanna do well in these competitions to actually win it. Many signings need to be made. Arsenal need to cancel the Raya signing as he’s on loan. Scrubby keeper always makes me nervous. Don’t know Arteta’s fantasy with small keepers like him and Ramsdale. Need a tall competent keeper like an Oblak for example

Bayern was not defensive, they had 52% possession, its You guys that were defensive, uncharacteristic of Arsenal. Yes at Emirates they were defensive. They had 40% possesion. Its not that they were fearful of Arsenal, thats how the coach set up in all big games, he won 1-0 agains City and Chelsea were champions. Its his tactics, thats what gets him results, have nothing to do with respecting Arsenal, or being fearful. You guys just lost it at home in that 2-2 draw.

It was the same at Christmas. When Saka and Martinelli are both off form then shallow people are going to say we need a striker, but if both of them are on form we are scoring 4/5 goals a game and nobody is talking about a striker. I am more worried with how inconsistent Saka and Gabi have been this season than getting a striker in the summer.

German watcher here. You guys shouldnt give up, you won't i know that. Its still not too long ago where these scenarios were never really a possibility for Arsenal, and rebuilding a team to national and intercontinental glory takes time. Arteta will keep pushing this club forwards and im positive of it, you might be out of the CL now but the experience and the ability to reflect and learn from past matches is something you cant buy!

The biggest mistake arteta made at buying or selling a player has been emi martinez. The man is the best goal keeper in the world right now. Raya is a good keeper but doesn't feel me with any confidence whatsoever . I haven't seen raya make any world class save til now and haven't seen him bailing us out at certain situations where we were almost sure to concede. I personally would bring back emi martinez and not trigger that buy option for raya. BRING EMI MARTINEZ BACK PLEASE. EMI SAID AFTER THE VILLA GAME THAT HE STILL LOVES ARSENAL

Agree. That was our biggest mistake. Arsenal let him go under 10 million now he may cost 100 million! Without a good tall confident goalkeeper, Arsenal won’t win anything. Some players should be omitted such as Martinelli and need a perfect striker, not a false striker like Kai.

I’m not sure Raya is that much better than Ramsdale. He cost us points vs Newcastle, West Ham and Villa away with his silly positioning and this evening I’ve got no idea why he tried to flick the ball behind him when he had no clue who was there…turns out it was a Munich player to flick it back in for the goal. And for a 2nd season in a row Saka has gone missing in the final few games.

we've come a long way from those batterings we used to get from Bayern. These lads are still young and still developing the mental resilience for these big matches. A couple of big signings in the summer may well change everything next season

This is our 1st year back after a long time. A QF loss to Bayern is not the worst to happen. We don't have the team that would beat Real Madrid in a UCL Semi final. The players have only gained from this experience and must use that to move forward. We still have the PL title to play for.

As Saeed says when we must this young Arsenal team never musts. Maybe it's a learning curve that all young teams need to go through but I can't remember the last time we won when we absolutely had to win. We are constantly falling short when it matters. Wanted 4th place missed out & got 5th, wanted to win the title missed out & finished 2nd. Wanted to get to the semi's, failed & went out in the quarters. I hope the manager & the players are aware of this fact & they can learn from it & overcome it in the future.
