I was expecting Chopin Prelude Op. 28 No. 20 or a variation of it… totally was not expecting this

Me not knowing which piece you're referring to: 🤨🤨 jk I feel like my style currently sounds a bit more Russian than Chopin's style. I'm not Russian, though. lol But I do take a lot of inspiration from Chopin. Thanks for listening!!

Major Scriabin vibes in the left hand

Thanks for listening! I love Scriabin, so that's probably why. I love his dense, pianistic style, and I guess that it makes its way into my compositional style. It's interesting how many people note that! What's your favorite Scriabin piece?

Love the way you write your climaxes, very romantic

Thank you! Climaxes are one of my favorite things in music, and I'm still perfecting them, since they're so tricky to make convincing. So, it means a lot!

It's your own composition ? Incredible.

Andante? It’s very beautiful, but what if you played it slower?

if Satie, Chopin, and Scriabin all wrote a piece together, it might sound something like this.

Thanks for listening. Scriabin's one of my favorite composers.

@@etc.-1912 I recently started listening to more of his music myself. I'm gonna start learning op8no12 soon; it's one of my favorite melodies I've heard from him, especially in the op8, with no10 a close second. Good luck on future compositions, you apodictically know how to use theory to write engaging pieces and you've got an ear for what sounds good. Hope I get there too someday.🤞😅

@@hashtagornah The etude Op.2 No.1 is really nice and I feel like it doesn't get enough attention. 🥲 I've been slowly learning Scriabin's sonata number 5, though. I love that piece though! I'm kind of partial to late Scriabin though.

this sounded a lot like Chopin wow, can you play it on piano plsss

My piano is so out of tune. I would if I had enough money to get it tuned. I'm going to start studying composition as a minor next Fall, so I'll have access to a real piano there. So, I'm hoping that I'll get to record some of my pieces then. But I'm from the middle of nowhere and self-taught, so I'm just trynna like figure things out. Thanks for listening tho!

Подскажите пожалуйста, кто композитор?
@etc.-19123 ай бұрын
I am. 😁 My names Enan Chediak. I’m just a photographer. (Edit: I thought this was my symphony lol. I wrote this in an afternoon. Not a lot of work went into this. I'm such a liar.)

Why not just dotted quarter note?
@etc.-19124 ай бұрын
Because I'm in 6/8 not 3/4. As a courtesy, I'm notating the lefthand pattern with preference to a 6/8 as three twos instead of two threes, which would emphasize the hemiola formed by the offset bass note instead. I probably could have notated it the other way and it would have been perfectly understood, but as far as notation was concerned, it is more true to 6/8 this way. Thanks for listening.
@etc.-19124 ай бұрын
Now that I say that, I suppose it's irrelevant whether it's 6/8 or 3/4 since they're 16th notes. 😂😂
