This class is focused on strengthening, stretching and releasing the psoas. The psoas muscle begins in the lower lumbar spine and curves around to the front of the body extending through the pelvis at attaching at the femur. The posas muscle helps lift the leg, so it is very important as we use it with every step we take!
It is especially important to strengthen, stretch and release this muscle throughout pregnancy as the psoas tightness can contribute to tightness throughout the entire pelvic region!
