I'm proud of the season so far! We did not play how we should have tonight, no excuses. However, what I try to understand is that these guys, while we put them on pedestals, are still people and have rough nights and bad traveling days. You lose to teams worse than you, it's inevitable, we'll do better next time.

I’m proud of these guys taking accountability and I’m most proud of Jayson pointing out missing those back cuts. He misses guys cutting a lot and if he can clean that up and keep his head on a swivel he will be all the better for it. Helluva player

This is a good loss for the team. After skating games they nearly lost, they lose this one. They learn more, like the rest of us, when they lose. Tatum, Payton, and Holliday balled tonight, the rest of the team gotta figure it out without their core 8, and core 8 (JT, JB, KP, Holliday, DWhite, Al, Payton, and Hauser) gotta stay consistent. C’s will figure it out. Got faith🍀

Yo Mazzulla, show that play when Tatum got back doored by Hayward in the film room like 20 times. They need to get the point to stop falling asleep on defense. Especially in the clutch.

I can live with this loss. JT did not play ISO ball in the closing minutes. He trusted his team mates by sharing scoring opportunities. If Jrue makes the free throws we win. My only beef rests with JB. He took an ill-advised three in the closing moments. He missed, preventing the team from using other players for a higher percentage shot. JB must make better decisions. If you're cold all night (especially from downtown), you're not going to get hot in the end. Trust your team mates. Think! Trust your team! Grow so more!

three games in 4 days, travelling between venues. road schedule is always tough, & the team is 9 games away, 5 games in Boston! -- best record in the league, top 5 offence, #1 defense = pretty f***ing solid, 4real. -- 2 weeks at home, seven games, let's see what the numbers look like after that.

It’s been a thing, bruh… they’ve been doing this since Brad was coach. It’s indicative of Tatum and Brown led teams. They fall asleep and get cozy. They shouldn’t need to have D-White to win. But Jrue was terrible for the 2nd straight game.

@JEBossTon92 Nah,Jrue has been a steady influence in the team, not the highest paid, but puts in a real effort, sometimes it shows quickly,others it builds slowly. JB is less regular then he is,I don't believe he is worth the money he gets,too up and down,more down them up.

So JB who has to play 2nd to Tatum gets all the blame? Right ok. Guys cry when he aggressive guys cry when he facilitates guys cry when he scores. We get it. Losers. Someone has to sacrifice scoring with new additions and JB is a goid enough teamate to do so. Yall still bitch like girls

Anyone else conflicted on this loss? We played horrible in the crucial moments, for a variety of different reasons, and the effort wasn’t there. We had the game, blew it. I have a weird feeling they will play MUCH MUCH better vs the Bucks. Seems like they care more for THOSE games than a random Monday vs the Hornets.
@alturay5505

I agree, I think Tatum just has to start demanding the ball more. Too many times Jrue and JB wanted to try and force the issue on that second half especially in the 4th and OT. But 10 missed FTs is crazy

Why are they still playing down to their competition? And I can't stand it when they get lazy and just keep bombing 3s all night, even though Brown, Hauser, and Porzingus were terrible from deep. Also, Tatum and Brown make *how much* and Hauser is taking the last shot? I don't care how open he is, the leaders on this team need to start acting like it and take the last shot. Hauser wasn't even shooting well tonight, he should not have had the ball in his hands before OT. Also, they have a big height advantage most nights, yet they barely try and get the ball inside for easy buckets when the other team is on a run. They just keep firing up 3s. It's bad basketball.

JT needs to stop forcing stupid shots. Learn to pass the ball, be a better teammate. Smart talked about this and got traded. Very talented player but from the naked eye, forces bad shots like JB. Wants so bad to be Kobe. Don't mean he does not pass like him.
