Most road bikes have a Presta Valve which don't fit most bike pumps, and its easy to lose the small brass adapter.
Make an adapter in minutes: Remove a cap, nip the tip, drill out the tip 3/16 / 4.5mm, or... waller' it out with whatever low tech machinery you have available. Flip it and thread it on backwards. Presto! Pump up any Presta with any standard Bike Tube Pump!
FOLLOW P.S.I. RATINGS ON YOUR TIRES
The racing tires shown require 70+ psi while most standard tubes/tires read 35 psi max.
This hack can be done with almost any soft plastic or stiff rubber tubing cut to 3/8-1/2" length (10-12mm) that has similar diameters near 5/16 O.D. and 3/16 I.D.... Cheers 🍻
