Thanks for the share, Modern Refugee. Bad news is food prices will go up 9.4 percent for the winter. Stockpile or grow your own. I like dominoe chicken 🐓 ,it’s a Civil War breed. Great forager.

Thank you sir. We have been stocking up while costs are down canning and freezing. Grow much of what we eat but getting ready for things to get crazy. Getting out own chickens for eggs and butchering. Thank y'all for sharing and have a blessed day.

Opec is slowing down production to drive up prices. Can now before the price of fuel goes up! Thanks MR!

$3.49 here now for gas. Store prices for eggs are lower than fresh from farmer by quite a bit but as I know how they do their chickens, I don't mind so much. Especially for those that free range them. Their yolks are so much more rich. Thanks. MR

I've been so busy that I have missed a few of your videos. I have been told to check the ingredients panel on chicken to be sure that it says hatch raised. I'm not a big chicken guy but the last time I tried to slow cook it, it wasn't edible. And I know how to cook! So be careful out there folk's.

The wholesale price of chicken is getting out of control. From $40 / 40# case of random chicken breast a month ago to $99 / 40# case. It's not as bad as the high of $189 in 2022 but it still hurts financially to my operation. Thankfully, bone-in leg quarters are still affordable.

$5 dzn is now becoming history again. $6 in stores, up to $15 for flats. The Locals that Sell are at $5 dzn. Chicken is usually around $3.89 lb. Butcher has the hood stuff at $3.49 for boness skinless breasts. A whole chicken is on Sale this week for $1.89 lb! But that makes me susicious.... Gas? Hmmm i haven't calculated US Gallon of late. 3.75 litre equals a Gallon, but i think your Gallon is larger? Imperial vs US Gallon... Anyway our gas is constantly Rising. Average Station during Daytime is charging $1.60.9 per Litre....times 3.75.... The quarts of local strawberries is $7 this year. One Delivery Company for food, has them for $5. Another Small Farms Organization is having a Loss Leader of $5.50 qrt. In my opinion? Its ALL too expensive!
