Greetings Kevin from Australia. Lovely lovely video. I just had a mate bring over the entry level Primaluna Pre. Made my Pass Labs Pre amp sound appalling, thin, grainy, lacking air and spatial presence. Another mate and I, just ordered two brand new Primaluma Evo 400 pre amps. Can't wait for mine to arrive from our Adelaide distributor of Primaluna.

Kevin, PHENOMENAL review!!! Truthdig style! I'm a DIYer who was bitten by the UPGRADE PATH bug many years ago. I was astounded upon discovering how cheaply made most products are (audio and otherwise), and how easy it is to achieve a sea-change in quality/performance by replacing OEM stuff with parts that cost a few dollars vs fractions of a cent. I now build the heart of my audio systems from scratch. BTW...I recently had an unforgettable encounter with an old Marantz receiver when an elderly neighbor asked if I could figure out why one of her speakers was cutting out. When I tried to pull the Marantz forward on the shelf to check connections I issued forth a loud groan! "WTF!", I thought to myself. "Is the friggin' thing somehow stuck to the shelf?" No, it's just DAMNED HEAVY! :D BTW#2...even though I'm experimenting with a few preamp DIY builds at the moment you've got me salivating about this PrimaLuna. Well done.

Greetings from Australia! I've owned a Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP Integrated Amplifier since the release of it and I just love it! Being a night club DJ for 30 odd years, I've seen a lot of gear! As a kid (I'm 59 now) the amount of old valve radios I used to muck around with was ridiculous! Luckily they were on their last legs but I was smitten with the valves or toobs as you guys call them and my other amp a Leak Point One Stereo system with a separate pre-amp power amp is just gorgeous! The power and output transformers in this amp weigh a ton and you can select mains voltage and resistance with jumpers that make it idiot proof! It's called a point one system because that's how much distortion was generated just below clipping! It's 60 years old and makes solid state stuff sound cheap n nasty! I love my Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP Integrated Amplifier! It's just gorgeous! I'm running a new, never in a nightclubTechnics SL1200 MK2 Turntable fitted with an Ortofon cartridge and the pre-amp is an English Cambridge unit! With the Primaluna warmed up, I select Aux 1 and turn the volume to full. All I hear is the tiniest hiss but of course if I was playing vinyl at that level, I'd be blowing things up but, you catch my drift! My Leak uses 5AR4 rectification and I had to replace that tube because a filament failed! The Russian Tung Sol sounds great and excluding the output tubes cos they were worn out, all the 12AX7s are original and within spec! When I win lotto Kevin I'll fly over to to buy a kick arse system! I use the Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP Integrated Amplifier in my bedroom running in to floor standing Wharfedale speakers and the whole sound stage is breath taking! Another Aussie here! Super classy review of this amazing company. I own the baby evo 100 integrated for my turntable system and all I can say is that it is a very affordable piece of equipment and of great quality.

I use a Prima Luna Prolouge premium preamp witch give my T+A Dac 8 dsd the analouge soul,love both.

Zesto adds a mirror image yet Upscale is an authorized dealer. I could not find any interior images of their products either. However, they do sound great.

Just an adapter so that you can bring XLR cables out of your source and change them to RCA for input to your preamp if your preamp doesn’t have balanced (xlr) inputs….
