Thank you for this video. I just want to correct a couple things for the benefit of viewers who are still learning the game: In round 1, when Aberdeen campaigned in the Conservatives Sector, you immediately applied the Partisan points in that Sector by reducing his number of Moderate MPs and increasing his number of Partisan MPs, which also had the effect of killing Aberdeen's Moderate Bill. But you're not supposed to apply Partisan points until the next Election: the Election resets the Moderate/Partisan split based on your Partisan points at the time of the Election. The only way to change the Moderate/Partisan split in the Action Phase is to play an Influence action. The system is designed so that a Clockwork PM would never take any action that lowers the Vote projections on a bill that's currently on the board. In round 2, you said it seemed wrong that Aberdeen would spend cubes defending the Cruelty Against Animals Act only to withdraw it in the same round--and yes, that was wrong. When a Clockwork PM has to withdraw a bill from the board, he withdraws the one with the lowest Vote projection: that was the Moderate bill. (At this point, I'm ignoring the mistake from round 1, which set you on a different trajectory.) As you noted, you made a similar mistake in round 4: you withdrew the highest bill (the one he just defended), not the lowest bill. You realized this mistake in round 5, but I don't think you noticed that the mistake had affected round 2 as well. The system is designed so that the Clockwork would never waste cubes defending a bill only to withdraw it in the same round. When you did the Election, you applied the adjustment from the Uncertainty Card to Popularity Points, but it supposed to be applied to the number of MPs, which is a less dramatic, one-time effect. So you were supposed to have 330 MPs, not 320. You should never move the marker on the Election Projections during an Election: your actions prior to the Election determine Election Projections; the Uncertainty Card just adjusts the number of MPs on a one-time basis. Lastly, I just want to mention that you're supposed to use Party Markers (the orange and blue cylinders) on the Election Projections table, not Player Markers. For a solitaire game, your variation was harmless, but it could lead to confusion if players do this in multiplayer games: Popularity always applies to parties, not to individual players.

The rule on resetting the Government MP Tracker after an Election is C.11.5. The Clockwork's rule on bill withdrawals is C.17.3. The rule on applying Uncertainty Cards in Elections is C.11.1. C.1.5.2 explains how to use the Election Projections table.

Thank you for the video. I am planning to buy this game but it is unlikely that I will find someone to play with 😅 So, for solo play, what do you think about the replayability?

I think it's pretty good. There are a lot of combinations of PMs/Opposition Leaders to work with, and some are more capable/challenging then others. So there's plenty of game there, even if you do end up having to play it solo.

For me, it's all the historical flavor, there's a ton of it in this game. It's not a wargame of course, but there's conflict between the factions and certainly winning & losing. I also believe this would be great fun as a four-player game with all the roles occupied. I haven't played it that way yet, but the interaction amongst players would be a lot of fun.

@@The8OJ4N You play as teams of two, so it's more of a co-operative thing than bargaining, although I suppose that could be part of it, since there are two roles on each side (Prime Minister & Gov't Backbencher on one side vs. Opposition Leader & Opposition Backbencher on the other side). Both need to work together to achieve victory. I haven't played multiplayer so I'm probably not the best choice to answer this from experience.
