Eric Leeds inspired me to pick up a flute when I was teen, purely for his part in the song 'Power Fantastic'. I think it's the finest, most sensitive and subtle and raw flute work I've ever heard in a pop song.

@@musical-motivation I dont think michael was that prolific...what was he doing between 82 to 87? 1 album. If you said frank zappa or julian cope, id say yeah, good comparison especially in the breadth and diversity and sheer eccentricity

Yeah I hear that! I focused on the positive, but toxic productivity is definitely a thing as well on the extremes

He also tended to be overly harsh and cruel and duplicitous toward his employees, forced people around him to abide by stringent religious/cultist mores, and also treated women he worked with like disposable sex toys to exploit. He was a fine and talented artist undeniably, but he could also be a horrible man.

No 1 can spent weeks not sleeping if u seen the longer clip of this you'd know they all said he thought sleep was important and had a bed in his studio. If u sleep from 6am to 1pm it's still 7 hrs of sleep

Yeah unfortunately this and other videos had to draw from the old content available on Prince. Hopefully you found this particular arrangement of clips helpful. The videos on smaller artists on my channel might give you a more unique viewing experience.

Haha I know. Im a musician as well. Some stories are inspirational and some are humbling. Im never going to be able to dedicate myself to music like prince did. But it's still interesting to see what we are capable of if we go all in

Several people have pointed out that there's a lot of overlap between these videos. I did draw my favorite content from one of their videos and other interviews I could find on KZfaq. You might find my other content more unique as there is less overlap from the original interview sources.

Prince has passed so unfortunately it is impossible for me to post fresh source content on him. This is simply a compilation of interviews that I found most inspirational. You might find some of my videos on less well known and researched creatives more unique and helpful

Prince is dead so all new videos on him are 'stolen'. I picked my favorite prince videos I could find from KZfaq and made a mashup of them. If you want more unique videos that contain less used material then check out my other vids

@@musical-motivation brother you literally stole this whole video from the Make Art Not Content channel and put a black and white filter on top of it - all you did was add your little voice memo in the beginning and edited out all the segments where the actual host is talking.

@@tigersteffi I thought that pulling my favorite parts from those interviews would be helpful. That video draws content from non-original sources. This was one of the first videos on my channel and I've since done more work to make my content more original.

There might be overlap in original sources. I put these videos together based on my favorite clips from previous interviews. There are other channels that likely use the same source content and pick their favorite clips as well. Sorry you didn't get much value in this video - perhaps the other videos on the channel provide a more unique experience to you.

He didn’t rely on or need drugs to be a prolific musical genius, he was born that way.

@@seviregis7441 Of course he was talented. Not trying to take anything away from the man. I love his music. But he died with drugs in his system. Furthermore, his ex allegedly said he was on coke for years, although he fired band members for being on the said drugs.
