Plus, his arguing about it for over an hour, meant the plane taking his brother and two uncles to Balmoral was delayed so long they eventually left without him. So he was meant to be on the plane with them. Thanks to his delay, even leaving without them, they missed what would have been their last moments with their beloved mother and grandmother. He was told by his father, the minute he landed by phone that the Queen had died. I can't imagine how the family felt, in particular the ones who missed seeing her thanks to his delay. He was specifically invited to join his father, Camilla and William for dinner at Birkhall, he flatly refused and was out of there by half eight the next morning. Then they tried to hijack the brand new Prince and Princess of Wales ' walkabout to meet those who had come to pay their respects. They only found out because Meghan had told someone in the US press that they'd be doing a walk, just the two of them, to meet the crowds. They had the sense to call the Palace and tell them. Charles asked William and Catherine to let Harry and the wife join in. William is barely containing his emotions by the end of it. You can see, he's waving bye bye to the crowds and he is nearly in tears.

He didn’t intend to visit her even though he was in the UK. How strange is that? He’s completely self centred. Also he had lost a grandmother whilst his father had lost his mother. That’s worse. But he argued with him instead of offering condolences

It’s weird how super pissed and offended he was when he saw the public cry and mourn his mother when they didn’t even know her but Meghan putting on a show at her grave was a touching moment for him. Like you said, it’s weird for someone to do that when you don’t know them.

First: The Queen had sent for him 5 times that summer and he refused to see her! Second: Everybody else rushed to the Military airport where they, Andrew, Edward, Sophie and William waited for nearly an hour so that Harry could come. But Harry was screaming about bringing Megs. William explained that Catherine was staying in London with their children but that wasn't enough for Harry, Megs must be allowed to Scotland with the children as well. In the end William ordered the plane to take off. 3. Harry sometimes tells another story about this and in that story he didn't know that the Queen was so ill because it was kept secret for him (paranoia). Most people in UK knew it in the afternoon and started gathering in front of Buckingham Palace and also outside Balmoral. I understood it already with the note in the Parliament at 2 o'clock and started looking for the other signs. The signs are really intriguing! But Harry must have been the only person that didn't know anything! Harry the half-wit arrived at Balmoral at 6 o'clock (2 hours after the rest) Harry's lying about everything as usual!😰

I think a lot of people knew her time was nearing the end when that photo of her was released welcoming Liz Truss at Balmoral, she probably had 'the surge' and asked Harry and Meghan to come up before she died. She looked frail at the Jubilee so it wasn't exactly hidden away. The Beeb had rolling coverage from 12:30-1pm about her being taken ill and the doctors being called, so it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to know she was going to pass sooner rather than later.

@@dianaroach3093 Me neither but the Palace has since the marriage in 2018, when Megs showed her real self, been walking around on eggshells. Every little move the Palace made where leaked to the press and spinned in Meghan's favour. So they waited for an hour just to prove they did everything they could for Harry. In reality the Queen was already dead. They wanted to get everybody important up to Balmoral before the official announcement of her death. It's still important for relatives and friends to sit beside a dead person and saying farewell. It was also a question of security!

I'm afraid she was unviewable. She had been left all day in a side room (France in August), unrefrigerated and in direct sunlight. By the time Paul Burrell got there to dress her it was already hours too late. I think Charles saw her but no one else. At least as far as I know.

What I find ridiculous with Harry's telling his reaction or response to his father in the phone conversation was no recognition of his sadness for the passing of his grandmother or his sympathy towards his father who just lost his mother mere hours, if not less time, but to be insulted by being told nobody extra needs to come along to Balmoral. The death of the Queen was an insult to Harry bringing out his jealousy because he knew the reality of his father and brother being next in line for the throne.

So all this storyline and no words about how much effort it took to make sure their children were looked after for such a long time? that would be a top concern for most parents. I mean, didn't Harry's fake therapist Gabor Maté, in his Pay-per-view online therapy session, say that at one year old, his mother gave him to someone to look after for 5 weeks (in order to save his life during WW2) and when she returned, he was so 'hurt' he wouldn't look at her for days? !! Yes, he apparently remembers this horrible trauma from infancy! Gee, Harry and Meghan's kids are never going to get over this abandonment during their extended U.K. visit!

Charles and Camilla were already nearby and were with the Queen when she died. The Harry thing made it so none of the others could be. Why they waited for him for so long the Lord only knows. It should have been “are you coming”. “ no? OK ‘bye”.

@@booker0110 They waited for him for an hour! The thing is that the Queen was already dead. She had died when the small white note was delivered to Liz Truss' secretary in the Parliament. I happened to see the debate (about something completely different) in the Parliament on TV and I understood. She mimed the words and looked shocked, also the camera zoomed in on her so it was all a bit weird. That was 2 o'clock. So Charles was already there. The rest were travelling up to Balmoral to see her, not meet her. When everybody was gathered together they made the final official announcement that the Queen had passed away! However they did something that made me laugh. They waited until Harry had landed in Scotland and was on his way with a car! They made the official announcement 15 minutes before Harry arrived at Balmoral.🤣

The queen did meet Lilli and Archie briefly when they brought them to Frogmore for the jubilee last June. That is also the one and only time that Charles met Lilli.

It baffles me that he grew up in the church but he didn't know where his mother was. I was younger than Harry, at the age of 11 when my mother died and I knew she was Heaven bound. Towards the end of Queen Elizabeth's life she said that she didn't want to think about Harry and Meghan because she was too tired. The way he treated her will haunt him.

Why would the family have wanted Meg there when days before the Queens death , she was basically threatening her, with the fact, she didn’t sign a non disclosure , saying she couldn’t talk about the RF, and she was going to start talking .. Then the Queen died. THEN remarkably Megs friend Scobie had the scoop , the queens body would be traveling by rail..and that wasn’t true.. I think the family fed the Markles that , to see if they would leak it , and I think they did He truly has destroyed his life, marrying that woman

Was it when Megain was trying to channel Diana that Diana supposedly spoke to Hazbeen through a tree, telling him that she wanted him to be king and not William? From what I understood about when the Queen died, the plane with William, Andrew, Edward and Sophie waited for about an hour while Hazbeen had a hissy fit. And it was because of that that Andrew and Edward were not with their mother when she died. Oh, and I can guarantee that if Hazbeen had been able to see Diana after she died, he would now be moaning on about how he was forced to look at his dead mother and how it traumatized him.

They were away from their children for 3 weeks when Meghan could have returned to be with them (if she had any shame) or to bring them over to the UK. Or Doria or a nanny could have brought them over. They have the money. Yet we're supposed to believe or be impressed by the fact that H&M held the children and didn't want to let them go after 3 weeks of unnecessary absence. And the hummingbird story sounds like it could be made up, as if it was the final scene in a movie.

To be fair, Diana’s grave is on an island on the private estate of the Earl of Spencer in Northamptonshire, which is a couple of hours drive from London. So not somewhere you can just ‘pop’ to…

Did Harry ever mention his uncle, Earl Spencer, in his book? I always remember how Earl Spencer vowed to protect his nephews as they grew up at Diana's funeral and I thought at the time "I bet you don't even remember their birthdays." Did Harry ever spend time with him or turn to him when he needed emotional succor?

Of course he probably would've found fault. I've thought that they should've offered to let them see their mother. My sister-law died in a freak accident at home. Her 3 children 13, 11, and 8 seen it happen. Her little nephew that was 4 years old was also there. My daughter was at the funeral but my father picked her up and carried her out of the church. The casket was open. My little 4 year old girl started asking me questions about her aunt's head. The little nephew had told her something. Four months later my father had a sudden heart attack and died. She loved her papaw so much. The funeral home had the time set for just family and friends. My husband and I made the decision to let her see my dad in the casket. She was just 4, she touched him. She doesn't remember very much about it. She didn't worry and ask questions like she had when her aunt had died a few months before.

Asking for clarity & guidance. I think most partners might have things they wish to say to Diana. But this request for clarity & guidance biz is pretentious. It's really announcing that she will be channeling Diana plus receiving & interpreting her messages. If Harry were smart he'd have perceived this to be a huge red flag.

I think that Prince Harry should stop and think about the way He has treated The Royal Family, and the hurt He has left by his actions!! People think so different about Him now after that, which will HELP to leave Him a very lonely man in life!! If the Queen ever had a favorite, it was Peter Phillips, her first grandchild. I saw a rare home video of the family at some weekend garden party and as usual, the grandkids were bowing or curtsying before the kissed the Queen, but when Peter did it, the Queen looked like she couldn't wait to hug and kiss him. And anyway, isn't it that the first grandchild always holds a special place in the grandparents' hearts? I also think she has a special fondness for Zara, Peter's sister, because of their shared passion for horses. And Zara is funny, light-hearted, and affectionate towards everyone. There's lots of candid photos and videos of her hugging, kissing, casually putting her arms around the Queen, Prince Philip, King Charles (who named her and who is her favorite uncle and she his favorite niece), and all the cousins, especially her favorite and closest cousin, William. Oh and the Queen also had a special bond with William when he went to Eton. She always made sure that William went home to Windsor on the weekends and that they had a whole afternoon together just the two of them. Harry was always jealous of the fact that William had his special time with "Granny" while he was never asked.
