- The nature of the Five Aggregates and the relationship we assume between them.
- Understanding that "Dependent Origination" is a principle of simultaneous presence whose "causation" is ONLY to the extent of that simultaneous correlation.
- Liberating your mind from your actions and vice versa.

I like "branch" better than "bridge" though assumption is literally correct and idiomatic.

@@rashmadr3900 They live quite rough secluded lives, it might be a good idea to start off in a monastery and then transition to a more solitary practice. Just my opinion based on all the material I've taken in. If you don't yet have right view, solitude might not be good to just dive into.

Thank you Bhante for these clarifications. Your argumentation and rhetoric are unrelenting. You remind me of a part from the letter of one of Kant's students from 1793, who wrote after Immanuel Kant's lecture that "Kant's arguments fell on our heads like hammer blows!" I have one question - You often mention terms such as arya, sotapana, anagami, sakadgami, araha and always and exclusively as universals or perhaps as concepts. If those terms are only universals then every nominalist, armed with Occam's razor 😀, would have the right to ask: "And have you ever met, seen, shaken hands, talked with any particular person who is an arya, sotapana, anagami, sakadgami or arahant?" What are the names of those people, and under what circumstances did you meet them? What do they do? What do their private lives look like?” If you have never met such people, then these terms are empty and belong to the Universals or can even be classified into some ideal forms similar to Plato's, is not it?

The problem with the premise of such a nominalists' question is that they would simply have no means of verifying whether the answer is true or not, regardless of what I'd say. Even if someone guarantees that they have met all sorts of ariyan disciples that cannot amount to anything more than a hearsay, since the criteria for recognizing a Noble disciple is for a person to become one themselves. That is why there is almost never any benefit in declaring attainments, whether in the first or a third person sense. The best one can do is teach the Dhamma directly and that those who understand it will see it for themselves and then know who was and will be awakened and who won't.
