We've gotten the yet unlocalized portable content for Makai Kingdom and La Pucelle, so it's not impossible. I'm not holding my breath... but it's possible.

It's the first game in the RosenQueen saga, and it is a decent game. The levels are kind of a basic labyrinth, and unless they somehow added the map screen from the DS RPG remake... You will likely need a pencil and paper to keep from getting lost in the last three dungeons. The English translation of the PS1 game had the encounter rate slightly increased (+5~10%), but XP and money were also slightly boosted (+10%), so it's a fairly easy romp if it's unchanged since the original PS1 game. Sadly the Western audience never got the 2nd musical sequel, or really any of the other spin off games. Well, at least not until La Pucell Tactics. I might not pay $100 for a collectors edition of Marl jong, but it would be fun to try those games out.

Yeah, that the vocals have been retained is remarkable. Glad I preordered a copy after all.

@@pacario9625 I prefer the ATLUS version too, but I have both soundtracks, so I was good either way. I was kind of worried the ATLUS English soundtrack would have been replaced once again. But this dose beg the question, is the hidden dungeon with the missing songs and the last three puppets not going to be in this release? This was the reason that the DS version had the japanese sound track. Were these songs produced in english, but then removed for the final release because of the sudden difficulty spike, and then removed so western audences wouldn't get mad at it. I physically imported La Pucel Ragnarok PSP, ripped it and played the fan translation. I honestly hope they keep the same uncensored Japanese release visuals. The La Pucel OST is the big thing for me in the collectors edition. But the new and improved combat mechanics are awesome, if you plan ahead a little you can destroy certain maps in one turn, and move again and again across the map.

@@Mac_Omegaly Thanks for all of that--some of that info I didn't know. Rhapsody is the release more important to me, largely due to nostalgia, but I do love the character designs and puppet motif. It'd be awesome if that extra content you mention is included, but NIS' silence makes me wonder...my guess is that it will be accessible, but only in the Japanese mode.

@@pacario9625 That dungeon, it's puppets, and songs are on the DS version of the game. But since it became an RPG like the 2nd musical that is Japan only, I would say that it's worth hunting down a copy... If that content is missing in this release. It's still a somewhat reasonable price on Amazon. $37.96

It's the original for PS1. The battle system was different in the DS version, originally Rhapsody was a tactical RPG, not a turn based one.

@@GrayFieldIon They said in an interview that gamers in general didn’t like the original battle system, so they changed it for the DS version. “The combat system has changed quite a bit too and the hybrid SRPG grid is gone. Why was Rhapsody simplified into a more traditional RPG?” NIS Development Team: Originally Rhapsody was meant to be a game for a wide audience, but the SRPG style did not appeal to the general gamers too well. So for the DS version we made changes so that even the most casual gamers could simply pick up and enjoy.

Me too. I also hope for Marl Jong, Marl de Jigsaw, Antiphona no Seikahime Tenshi No Score Op. A, and a remake of Marl Kingdom Happy Hunt, the mobile phone game that’s not so well known.

Absolutely. NIS America has a limited edition that comes with a physical release, an art book, the soundtrack, acrylic stands and collector coins, and a collector’s box. You can preorder it. Amazon, Target, GameStop, and BestBuy have the deluxe edition that comes with a physical release, the soundtrack, a collector’s box and an art book.

That would be up to Gust, NIS America only published those games. The Prinny Classics are only for Nippon Ichi developed games.
