Print and Cut | Silhouette Go app
The Silhouette Go App can be used for ios and android devices. Learn exactly how to use the app, cut, design, and sketch with Bluetooth-enabled which is easier without having to use your desktop.
I will be using an iPad to demonstrate how to use the program with the print and cut process. The Silhouette Go App is a game-changer in the printing industry where you can use your handheld device to create, design, and print from the palms of your hands.
Print and cut can be used when applying intricate images or designs where vinyl can be used. Print and cut can be used either with your regular home or sublimation printer.

It works only for die cut, I once tried to cut sticker sheet with different cut setting for each line color, but couldn't figure out the way to did that in the app.

Also can you do the red cut lines through the app like modify where you want it to cut and not cut or is it just the silhouette studio

Yes, you can choose the cut lines you want to cut. After you select the settings for your machine you click continue then you will see the option where it says “ select the designs you want to send to your silhouette machine.” You will then click on the design and you will be giving the line options. I plan to use this method to cut kiss-cut stickers (product labels), so I need them cut all the way through the paper. Would I do this by increasing the cut depth?

Yes please you can use the blade depth or the force of the blade.

Sorry you can create text within the app. However if you created words or text in the silhouette studio program you can save it to the library section and then it can be opened on the app. Hope this answer helps.

Thanks for your question, I don't believe you can. However, the app was recently updated so this feature maybe active. I will have to check and follow up.

I do not see the blue button “Print and Cut” my blue button says “Continue to Job Settings” and idea how to get print and cut option?

Thanks for your question. To find the print and cut option make sure to look at the top of the APP and the last icon on the top right hand corner you will see a page icon with registration marks. Once you click on it, it will automatically set up the page for print and cut then you can proceed from there. I hope this helps.

I’m wondering if it’s because I don’t have my silhouette hooked up to my printer? I guess I was magically thinking my silhouette go would be able to Bluetooth communicate with my printer. Do you have your silhouette connected to your printer?

I ended up opening up silhouette studio on my computer, printing it from there, and now I’m able to open silhouette go and continue to tell it to cut from there. Which totally defeats the purpose but I really wanted to see if I could cut from silhouette go

Also as I mention when you are on the page with the mat at the top right hand corner, the last icon is the print and cut option you would need to click and then the registration marks will come up.

How are you making the size of the image smaller

Thanks for your question. When you tap on the image you should see the option to make it smaller or bigger. There are normally arrows. I hope this answer helps.
