The reason I respect Wes watts and it's you've never once heard him promote some supplement or even his own website or anyting. He never tries to sell you a single thing and on videos where you'd expect just to hear prison story that's all he even needs to do to get views he make sure to add a whole bunch of motivational stuff and good life coaching advice. He doesn't have to do any of this that's how you can tell that he's doing this cuz he really wants the best for the world and people around them. He's not trying to hustle you to get money he's not trying to say that he'll sell you the answers to get what you want he just gives you the answers you won't find another guide on KZfaq doing things to his level. This is a great guy right here.

I watch alot of your episodes, mad respect homie .I finished my last term in 04 and had given cdc about 10yrs of my life .I am 50 today and started out super young hustling and robbing all to support that dope habit. It brought me to some pretty dark places in county jails all the way from San Jose to Vegas, I did time in numerous prisons all across California running with the white car and affiliated with a group Im not going to put on blast . I was on the higher level yards all the way to the lower level yards my last term I pretty much paroled from the hole because of a riot I helped orchestrate with the southsiders. I have not been back to the joint since , all my time was in the 90s and until 04 when I paroled. I did 3 terms and a shit load of violations. I never did any serious stretches but did enough time on the installment plan to finally wear me out on that prison shit.Im not going to say I never went back to jail because I did a few months behind my addiction. Anyway long story short I had a litte girl when I first got out who is now 14 .I have not picked up any mind altering chemicals in 6 months and have been using the mindset I had the last time I was locked up and that is positive thinking and starting to workout again. I meditate every night when I jog and hold a steady job and try to be the best father i can be.I have watched most of my friends die or are slammed inside for life.The ones left are struggling on the streets or like me have decided to change their life.I really dig your message and use your mindset to get the job done and keep moving forward. I am thinking of doing some writing myself or spread the word on KZfaq because I would like to spread the words from my experiences to help people also and show it could be done. Thanks again for spreading the word of positivity, you can keep it gangster and real at the same time. Some of these guys on here telling stories is a little hard to swallow.

I agree with you but there’s one thing I learned getting off drugs is that you can’t do it for others. You gotta do it for yourself. You can tell me all day to quit for my mom but then a hour later I’m getting high but when I learned to quit for myself so I can help others and then I can be there for my mom. I can’t quit for others. I gotta quit for myself. Every time you post a video I watch it right away. You’re an awesome motivational speaker and I love what you have to say because you give it raw and no side bullshit. You tell it how it is and you don’t sugar coat nothing. Keep it up. You should be a lot bigger then what you are on KZfaq but give it time. Everyone is going to realize how passionate you are and people will start listening to you like I am now. Keep it up big homie.

Bro I haven’t been to prison but did a year in jail. Drugs and VOPs. That shit about doing it for my mom to not break her heart again is what’s my biggest motivation. Been visualizing shit for the better. I’m an addict so now I’m getting addicted to other things. Eating right exercise making myself better because those shallow things that I want will all come to me once I KNOW that I am doing good.

Wes i just wanted to say thank u brother i went to prison in 2011 and when i got out i had the mind set of a convict. I got addicted to pain pills and met a women i am now soon gonna marry. When we found out she was pregnant we got clean. I found u about 1 year ago and ive been a sub for a while now because u motivate me like nobody else can. Anytime i think about maybe going and buying a fat ass roxy pill i pull up youtube and watch one of ur videos just to remind myself that someone like me can change and make something of themselves and i just want to thank you for the content you create to help people because i u jave helped me more than u could imagine keep it up and once again thank you

Man, Wes I’ve watched many of your videos if not all of them and they all hit a nerve with me, but this one really stuck in my mind profoundly. Every word and thought made me feel this is exactly how I want to live my life, and especially for my soon to be born first son. He’s due in January and I must be the father I know I can be. I’m 25. Longview; this is easily your best episode. As a man fully coming into my own, never been locked but grown and raised around people in and out I can really appreciate the lessons learned from this. I've heard time and again the ins and outs, although every place differs but never once does anyone turn that adversity to strength, they go back to old ways, or only straighten out from fear of more time. They never change who they are and never speak of the discipline that you can make of the time, just hard ass story that everyone sees through. Big ups for this for real.

GP from Ga. just binged 6 video’s good shit. Been out almost 5 years and in 2 I was married to a elementary school teacher who didn’t look down on me and in 3 years I bought a bass boat and now I’m going to go pro in fishing in the next 3 years. Keep working keep grinding and make progress
