I never realized how much danger I was in! I got a prison bid in Pa for hot urines while on probation for misdemeanor thefts. Made it through prison but in the half way house on a day we all got a 12 hour pass and a group of us went to Cabelas and took pictures. Turns out we’re not aloud in businesses that sell guns and we’re all sent back to the nearest SCI. They put me in with a lifer! I don’t understand how they can mix lifers with parole violators! I’m damn lucky nothing happened..

Was at the bar one night and saw a fight where dude got hit 1 time fell out and busted his head on the concrete and never regained consciousness.... bro ended up gettin offered 20 years last i heard about it.... crazy to think how fast you can go from hanging out having a drink with your girl , to looking at 20 years behind bars

As a black man who was raised in Hawaii, I can tell u this is a rabbit hole of culture, violence and dominance, They don't make a distinction in the type of crime its the totality of the crime itself and the reputation of the one involved . You will get called out "paperwork check" on the mainland but not in the islands. Its about saving face "reputation" If u call somebody out that is a life and death decision and then it still may not be enough cause his crew will seek revenge for the perceived lack of respect. You have to remember its an island and news travels fast

9:22 I actually do believe the gang member cause for one, what it would take for him to get up and testify, and also cause if he did do anything to him, usually in a gang they’ll not only admit to it, but be proud of it. And to answer your question, no I don’t consider that snitching. I mean yeah he got up on the stand and did testify, but what he testified to wasn’t incriminating to anyone. He wasn’t pointing a finger at anyone, he was only saying it wasn’t him. And I really think the COs probably threw him in that cell with a gang member specifically for this reason. And buddy’s saying he died cause of the beating he got beforehand, so why did the COs throw him in there anyway? Why was he not brought to the infirmary?? Sketchy shit to say the least. But it’s really something that bothers me the most. Sure, if you do the crime you do the time. We all know this. But for people in powerful roles to be dirty as hell and then to just blame someone else cause it’s “obvious” with their reputation that it’s something they’d do, that’s sick. And wholly unfair. And there’s also all kinds of times that someone credits themselves with heinous crimes they never actually committed just for the sole purpose of having others see you and fear you. And when you’re in a gang I guess that’s part of the whole thing is making the opposing side scared. But he’s not doing that at all. He’s like bro, you’re lying on me. But on the other hand, it’s not stated which gangs and there are other shot callers and politics and if he was told not to touch a rival member for any reason and then buddys in the same cell and dead… that would seal the fate of this guy too. So I mean it’s dangerous shit.

Hawaii prisons are different from the mainland. Totally different. There aren’t any racial politics. Hell, even USO Fam isn’t entirely made up of Samoans. There’s all kinds of ethnicities accepted into USO Fam; Filipinos, Hawaiians, Micronesians, Japanese, Haoles. All kine. And we don’t really check paperwork. It’s just who you know and what you did on the streets. Hawaii is made up of small islands, and most times everybody knows or is going to know everybody else.

I have a question / idea for a interesting video. Did you ever see or partake in ordering pizza from jail? In Alabama, my home town, i used to work pizza delivery, and damn near every night, a HUGE order would come in from the towns jail. The inmates would all put their cash together and order food, and you could hear the walls erupting with cheers from outside, soon as ya got out of the car. Id love to see your take on this, and i would love to know if this happens in other jails

When I was in mcso the Chicano ta e tried to roll me up I refused they said I had to run it with big Mike big .Ike has seizures bit you can't back down in there so I ran it totally smashed big Mike we both went to the hole I spent the next two weeks praying big Mike didn't have a seizure and pass away I learned my lesson I was terrified something would happen and he would pass he had a seizure a day before we fought the staff thought he was dead and sprinkled water on him I pray I never go back but if I do I'd rather be punked than spend weeks terrified this guy would have another seizure and they blame his death on me
