wes is one hell of a success story, can't believe only 5 years ago he was walking around in a park talking from a bench to now walking around his own mansion. especially doing it thru the most uncertain times (covid, economy etc) and not letting it slow him down. what a legend honestly

@@number36420 Hard as it may be you have to stay positive. As long as you’re fairly healthy you can start to climb out of whatever hole you may have gotten into

Not to be flip, but I'm 58 and there are times I long to only have enough to fit in one bag. Just a bag and drift. I'm healthy and feel like it's going to waste cause it won't last forever anymore. You've lived a life. No matter what happens from now on, you've lived a life not everyone could.

2 months ago I had such shoulder pain I couldn't perform even one push up. So I got started. Every morning after my 30 minute walk I found what stretches hurt the most and lived there for two months. I just completed my first 123 burpee session with zero shoulder pain...... zero. It took me some sets but I got it done. Thanks Wes for the motivation.

I've torn both shoulders playing football, AC joint, labrum, loose shoulder. What rehab did you do?

@@MCJOHNSON95 I am lucky to have never torn them but I believe I was a couple months away from. " frozen shoulder" as they call it. Wall climbs were a big one. My physio gave me 5 exercises to do and I just did them every day for 2 months. It was one of those scenarios where I didn't think it was working until one day it did.

Despite being half your age, please adhere to these kind words: 1) Warm up, more than you think you should and walk everyday. 2) Please spend more time hitting your rear delts and core for stability and longevity. 3) stretch your hips daily, 2-3 times a day and also decompress your spine. Good to see you start working out . I am retired 10 years in May 2024 . I work out 5 days a week my bench is 5 sets of 3 reps.at 245 lbs . My first 9 months of retirement I hired a trainer. Get one so that you can learn to drive weights correctly and don't get hurt.

Wes' technique is truly one of THE best I've seen. Especially how he springs back up after the pushdown without even bending the legs (you don't meed to do crunches after that, works the crap out of your abs). Took me months and a couple torn muscles to get it just right. But once you got it, it feels AWESOME. The more you do, the more you want to keep doing, even if you're about to collapse and out of breath....
