I've just started to listen to Byran Katie it's only been 2 weeks and I feel I've found a missing part of me through her. I'm already relaxing into my life like never before. I'm a meditation facilitator and healer through words . I use visions given to me by spirit and guide people on journeys. I have no prepared script and totally rely on the peace and love of the peasant moment that my guided meditation will be of service and healing for my clients. It's taken me years to feel relaxed about receiving money and over the years I was met with many people who reflected my beliefs of not being paid for my service's, so many would come and not pay so I stopped practising because I needed to live pay bills eat raise children etc. I started practicing again just for the love of it but this time I made it clear that for the energy to be received, there needs to be energy expelled as this is what I believe now, I'm always paid now and I have full confidence that if I'm not it will work out somewhere at some time. Thank you BK for the work.💞🙏

@@solutionbox You should notice what a great listener you were for her. It’s the one who make a teacher rock, isn’t it? She needs someone to share her findings. Your conversation is with far more values than the one with Jon Cabatt-Jin, because he, I guess, hasn’t gone to School. (Maybe I should do the Work on my guessing…lol) I’ve already watch the video four times and I’ll watch it again and again. How about you? I highly recommend. Here’s a present for you. As you know our thinking and believing is so powerful. You can say this to you and anyone else. You don’t have to vocalize it. Just thinking will give them the power. Try it and you’ll know what is. It’ll help you surviving until you do the work on the problems. I have a perfect and very happy future waiting for me, and all the problems I feel I have now will be solved in a moment by happy happenings. I am determined to move towards a happy future in no time. I get my money, my partner, my family, whatever I want. I am okay.

I’m a big fan of Katie! Here’s what came to my mind. I spent the last 2.5 years and all the money I had (was given) on investing in my musical career. Now, I have a budget for 1 month left and no planned/regular income from my music AND songwriting course/workshops I designed. I worked my ass off the last 2.5 years only to come to this point. Which a part of me calls a failure. However, here’s what I’ve learned: 1. People will come to me to be coached on songwriting only AFTER I have shown what I can do with my songwriting. (Even though I teach regularly at a very prestigious music production institute, yet that only happens twice a year and it’s not enough to pay the bills). 2. I feel like I had it backwards because “I wanna make a living with my music” - means putting the carriage in front of the horse. So I changed it to “I intend to pour my heart into my songs and share through them the knowledge and experience that has helped me become a happier, more balanced person.” If people out there find it valuable and worthy of booking me and paying money to see me perform, that’s a sign that I’m ready to make a living with music. Not earlier than that. 3. If my own music becomes successful, so will my songwriting workshops- after all who wouldn’t want to learn from someone who made it? 4. Everything happens in its own time. You can’t force a growth anymore than you can force a tree to grow faster. So I am now humbly looking for a part time job or two. I continue with recording my new album, including making live performance videos to offer to bookers. The rest is none of my business. They like it, great! They don’t, fine, too. I gave it all.

Your #2 really impacted me, Petra. Realy spoke to where I've been as an artist. Particularly artistic work really is a function of letting go of what you can't control, but also finding the better intention--which you can.

I think what BK is explaining to a Coach is already one of the core principles of Coaching. Only when we practice real authentic Coaching ,is when we coach really effectively Iam a Coach myself, have also exercised BK work or inquiry ,on myself and also with my client. It is all about being self aware, and acceptance of oneself ,for some people it takes a lifetime to being self aware , because venturing into our dark inner side takes courage.

So to David; in 2010 Katie gave me a scholarship to the school ( free) and I did the work about I haven’t paid her back... over the last 10 yrs I became a mental health counselor I have taught the work to many many other counselors many many of my clients given her books as gifts, recommended her school her web site her books.... I haven’t paid her back... turned around I have paid her back... I believe I have and I just can’t ever know how much... Katie said every session I show up for me... I find that to be true for me and I invite the day that I stop showing up for me in a session because how else would I know it’s time to stop counseling... if I’m no longer engaged no longer care just there because I have to pay my bills.., time to go... simple

Great video, great input from Katie! :) One thing about coaching and the principles of coaching: It seems that it gets often mixed up with teaching. When David talked about what value to give, what to say and what to plan... that sounded like teaching. I made the mistake often to think that I had to share stuff, my experiences and to teach people. This often did not land well. Lately I realized that coaching is only about the agenda of the client. That I cannot plan a coaching since I don't know where the client wants to go. And that when I want to teach something I have to ask for permission since it may be off of the client's agenda and their direction. My conversations have gotten so much more enjoyable and impactful. Since it's about the self-discovery of the client, not my agenda to teach or my value. Many beliefs and insecurities around coaching just dropped away by understanding what coaching is, how it's structured and what my job as a coach is :)

Thanks so much for sharing, so insightful. I love recognising the perfect perfection of all beings, wherever they are in life, including myself. Knowing we cannot do it wrong, no mistakes. I've always found the word 'coach' challenging, labels can be....when we are all things, multi-dimensional and want to celebrate it all......but the title helps others find us, which is beautiful. It's also lovely to know that all we need to do is be comfortable with ourselves and that's enough for someone else (or it's not). :) We question our stressful thoughts to lead us to peace and unconditional love. So we fall in love with the dance of life .... We can fall in love with the idea of achieving big, exciting goals, that's beautiful too.... we don't need to question joyful thoughts, only stressful ones. I think of this as awakening to reality.... .....I just love the thought of waking up in Ko Phi Phi for example..... We can have a list of goals and work towards them daily and simply question any stressful thoughts. We can even practise cold showers and short term discomfort for longer term joy...... it's fun, it's playful, life is so beautiful, it's all things....ugly and beautiful, the same beautiful when the mind is peaceful. So clients can enjoy wanting to see results that's beautiful .....a peaceful mind, goals, the future, whatever brings them joy. Notes to myself of course. Love to you.

BK: " I don't know who/how I am going to be on stage. We all find out together." A statement so authentic, and a thought we could all begin our day with for ourselves. You can feel the breath expand in that thought. She never gets old.......literally and message "wise." Love her! We have been programed what value is. as a facilitator of change, I have learned, everyone that is drawn to me, is me. The value :) is always great to me, and I can not know what it is for them. I will say that it has often happened, that years later I have often heard about profound movement that happened in clients/friends lives, as a result of our "loving/equal" exchange. This was a wonderful exchange, thank you so much! And David you are a sweetheart.
