CURLY GIRLS: the more you touch your hair, the more it frizzes. Try not to touch your hair as much as she does until after it dries and THEN break it up, but just a little bit! Also a good tip is to let it air dry to 80% THEN blow dry cold the last 20% to seal in the look. The reason why a cool button is there is to lock in the look. Always blow dry upside down. This pushes roots away from scalp instead of letting gravity flatten your roots. Works for me, natural kinky curls on a white girl, but might work for you too. All of these tips and tricks are from the beautiful black hair stylists in my circle who know curls of every type and they have never led me wrong ❤️

Watching these vids thinking of my own routine... Wash hair... Towel dry (sometimes scruffing ... I know, I'm trying to stop that habit now that i know its a no-no) Then brush it and go to bed with it half wet lol. Yeah ... its a frizzy curl mess half the time when i wake up, but then its pony tail or messy mom bun and done... lol. I think i'd get a 2 ... maybe a 1 lol.

KZfaq was dry this is what I needed

My hair routine (on a non wash day): -pull off silk cap - use spray bottle to add moisture and detangle if necessary (usually not) - if I need to re apply a curling cream, mousse, or oil then I’ll do that - shake my head/hair - let air dry I have short 3c/4a hair so very low maintenance, but still takes all day to air dry when soaking wet so I don’t wet my hair everyday. I only comb or brush to detangle/distribute products while wet.
