For sleeping, you might do well with putting your hair up like you've been doing, but use a silk scrunchy to keep it up, and possibly a silk sleep bonnet. I'm Caucasian and I have fine hair, but it's 2b curly, and this is how I'm able to keep my curls looking good with minimal upkeep for upwards to a week

Agree, I don't really understand the lack of use of silk products when every single person who talks about growing your hair long uses them. Also I don't get the opposition to braids. Like she said just do a ponytail for the gym when a braid is way more protective

This was a really amazing video! I can't normally sot through vlog content for so long but this was both enjoyable and super educational. Can't wait yo incorporate more of these tips into my own hair routine! As for the general body aches, maybe do some blood work and make sure you don't have a vitamin D deficiency? Or any other vitamin or nutrient deficiencies. I have one and although I somehow got away with few symptoms, I've memorized what a vit D deficiency is thanks to reading so much about it and the body aches and lower back pain are some of the most common. Hope you feep better soon! And thanks again for all your contributions to haircare :)

I am in MN for a work contract and have been told this is the most abnormal MN winter!😂 the constant weather changing has been such a battle with my hair and skincare products. I don't know if you've heard of it but would love to know your thoughts on the Raw Sugar ACV & Rosemary hair rinse, shampoo alternative. It has been such a game changer for me in extending my full shampoo wash days (I use the Nioxin 1 set for my wash days). Love all the details shared about every product and I’m definitely running to the store today to try out that Dove shampoo! With cleansing shampoos, do you personally use them for every other wash? I feel like I use them with every wash I do (generally once a week or once every 5 days) but I’m noticing I need to wash sooner. I also use the Pantene one you use here! I think it’s drying out my scalp so I get sooo oily so much quicker than I used to. Thoughts?! ❤ Thanks!!!

Yes PLEASE!! A sleepy thing needs to happen!! I was using the sleepy tie, and it was working great. My first one broke, so I bought a new one and it seemed like all the ties after my first were heavier? (May be in my head?). I would wake up in the middle of the night and felt like it was tugging since it was pulling backwards. So then I went to a silk head wrap thing. Didn’t think that through to much- no way I will wash a silk thing the way it needs to be often enough. So I actually started putting my hair up like you just showed! In a loose bun held with clips. I am always wondering if that is contributing to hair breakage but 🤷‍♀️. I don’t know where to go from there for sleeping hair, but I hope you have some ideas!!!!

The Zuvi Halo Hair dryer did what the repronizer is supposed to do. It transformed my hair after one use. My hair is so silky, smooth and soft. No product made this before. Before my hair was dry and strawy. It also looks more voluminous now. I don't know what this light does exactly, but it is like a hair treatment ❤ and this redlight or infrared light which comes out of the hair dryer, could be good for hair growth. It looks green but actually it is red.

I have been learning so much from you videos for the last few months. Even though I am a super busy, working, first time mom who is lucky to have the time to shave one leg in the shower, I appreciate all the info and TRY to implement some of you hair care into my schedule. Any short on time tips and tricks? I would also be curious to see a 'various workout hairstyles' video, especially for intense cardio. I run everyday and my tailbone length thick/heavy hair has to be up, not only to keep from being a sweaty mess nuisance, but also for safety so I can't be pulled back by my ponytail.

I sleep with my hair in a bun most nights and use the U shaped Bobby pins, works perfectly. My hair stays in shape the next morning and the Bobby pins stay put. Huge fan, love your channel and content 😊

Abby!!! I love the concept of the sleepy tie (silk bonnets fall off or leave imprints in my forehead) but it just doesn't work for me 😭 I have a ton of super long fine hair, maybe that's why? But no matter how high I put on my head or follow the directions/ watch videos it flops down and pulls - forget about even caring about preserving my hair style, just trying to find a comfy protective style for my hair while sleeping. I'd loooove to see what you can come up with. Even the two baby clips in a high bun trick changed everything. Thanks for all you do to educate people on their hair 🙏🏻

Love this video! How do you protect your hair in the shower on non-wash days? Do you use a shower cap, or clip it up?

Abbey❤ there's nobody I would trust more than you to design a hair accessory for sleeping. It's my number 1 struggle with being able to go more than 2 days without washing 🙏

I'm so glad I found Epres through you, it has totally transformed my hair! I've been using it every week and my frizz is basically gone and my hair is shinier. I've honestly seen a bigger difference with it over k18 and living proof bond repair. ❤❤❤

Have you tried the L’Oreal everpure in shower acidic glossing spray? I love that stuff. You apply after shampoo but before conditioner. It’s truly transformative.

About your clips for your night style, have you tried those spiral/twist bobby pins? I think they would probably be great

Wonderful video Abbey. Thanks so much for taking the time to produce such a detailed Vlog. Just wondering how often you use the k18 mask - e.g., once a week or just before / after hair coloring? TSM for all you do 💗
