Can the ND filter version be set to clear? If not then I will always have at least 2 stops of light cut by the ND filter whether I want to or not. If I’m shooting at night I don’t want to have 2 stops of light loss. What is the color shift like. I assume there is some kind of shift in color dependent on how much ND you have dialed in. By how manly Kelvin does it change. Are there markings to know exactly how many stops of ND are being applied.

Hey ! Is there any loss of frame with the Canon basic EF to L mount ? And does the ND version goes from 0 to 8 or do you start with 2 when you mount it ?

There will be no loss of frame unless you're adapting to a crop sensor L-mount camera. The ND version always starts at 2 stops, so you can't use it at 0.

Can you make a GF to L mount adapter? Would be awesome to use Fuji GF lenses on a Blackmagic full frame camera. You already have a reversed version, right?

We don't make either at this point. It would be possible but getting the firmware right would be tricky,

I do have the Vizelex Fusion Smart Autofocus + ND throttle EF to L adapter. Not only the Autofocus doesn't work but I have no control of the Iris (F stops). And I tried to connect it to a computer for problably a an update but it won't even appear in the computer. This is the second one I got for my s5iix,so I just use it with manual lenses.

I purchased a Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K. I have a lot of Sony E lenses and would like to try them out. Please recommend a way to solve the problem with the E-L mount conversion adapter.

Unfortunately an adapter like that is impossible to make because Sony E-mount has a shorter focal flange distance than L-mount. Sony is 18mm, while the L-mount is 20mm, so there's a -2mm difference. Even if an adapter was made to adapt E lenses to an L mount camera, the lenses would not have infinity focus and would only work for close focusing.

Do the Nikon G adapters work with electromagnetic aperture diaphragms? Most of the modern G-type lenses made before the switch to Z no longer had the mechanical aperture flange and required electronic control. Do you offer any that support the option?

We do not currently make an auto Nikon to L-adapter, so if you use one of our Nikon F to L adapters you’ll need to use Nikon lenses that have mechanical aperture and focus controls. Aperture and focus by wire only lenses won’t work.

@@FotodioxInc also, let's be 100% honest, with the BlackMagic's AF matrix... Auto is a wash. Aperture/iris control is what matters. No one uses AF for anything other than perhaps a preset distance finder before recording. Because sanity.

Hello, As the Canon EF to L mount Fusion makes the AF a bit slow, does it alter the built in stabilisation of the lens when there is one ? I understand it'll still work but is there a possibilty that it would be deminished ?

No, stabilization isn't affected.

Kind of, but it works more like an ND filter where you control the stops. Think of it like 8 ND filters in one.

Yes, all the manual ones should works just as well. We haven't tested the Canon EF to L FUSION auto adapter on that camera, so we can't say if it will work well or not.

As a Nikon shooter, I'm really jealous that there's currently no ND throttle fusion adapter to use EF lenses on the Nikon Z. Will you be making one soon?

We do make one, it's just not electronic. It's just manual: fotodioxpro.com/products/ef-nkz-cndt We may make an auto version in the future, but I can't say for sure at this point.
