That train looks fully booked. But, but, but, Indian media says the Chinese HSR trains are not used by the people, because it is so expensive!!! Indian media = april-fools media.

The Western media were using COVID videos to make that stup!d claim too. They are saying HSR is operating at a loss. Meanwhile, in California, USA, they spend $100+ BILLION for a HSR that goes 0-0mph in 20+ years and it doesn't even use tracks. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

No, they are right. 1 - It is more expensive than their local train rate for sure. 😂 2 - Their local train can take people on the roof, Chinese train cannot. 🤣🤣 But don't blame them. Hope one day they would have the same technology. 😇

Hi Jerry, Nowhere in the world can they compare with the Chinese trains. We have taken this train so many times when we go to Beijing, or the opposite direction to Qingdao. Allways an absolute pleasurer to look forward to a train trip. Man ek wens ek was nou daar

The one to Qingdao is better than the one to Beijing! Got Qingdao at the end of it lol. Fantastic city with fantastic people and the best beer in China.

I think it’s ok to ask permission for sitting on an empty seat before the passenger onboard the train.

@@gliu1431 The seat numbers are in different colors on newest trains. Green means no passenger, yellow means passenger in next train station, red means passenger already onboard.

The reason some carriages filled up but the others are left empty because there are many stations along the way, so they try to fill one up before selling the seats in another carriages…….easy manage and fairness in terms of the seats choices…….

Damn Chinese trains are a problem. Saving money, traveling faster, and ordering food. What happens to riding horses, hunting your own food, and taking weeks to go from one place to another. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Jerry, next time get the 1st class, it looks so much bigger for you.

After being stranded because of a breakdown/electric line issue (again) in the middle of nowhere in a train here in the Netherlands I miss the reliability and frequency of the Chinese high speed trains. Here in the Netherlands the trains are unreliable, expensive and have a low frequency quite a contrast with the Chinese HSR.

I along with my wife and ninety-five year old aunt traveled to four cities starting from Beijing to Xian to Chongqing to Shanghai, hands down the best trip on train we had compared to the ones we took with Amtrak in the US from east to west coast, the one in Germany from Hamburg to Bavaria and also few in India.

First World problems! 😅 Personal space is very important for me, too, so I was wondering how tight it is on trains in China. I'm broke 💰 but even so I always make sure that I have extra space around me on flights ✈️ even if it means a surcharge. Served McDonald's meal inside the Chinese train: mind blown 🤯. Thank you for this instructive video. One day I'll live there too.

@@soowo5942 On Ryanair, we can select seats online on a live map so I can see which rows are empty. Or I pay a modest surcharge for seats with extra leg room. Usually nobody else sits in that row. Never gone wrong with this tactic yet.

The great thing about the Chinese bullet trains is they're always half empty, so you can always get a seat (Other than during the Spring Festival.)

You think the seat is too small, why don't buy the expensive ones, you don't satisfied with it, you can select the seats when you order it or can change it by communicating with staff of the train.

Those empty seats maybe ordered by someone else, you can sit but when the buyer come you should leave. Everyone has their own seat and it was ridiculous to argue with the staff. Show some respect, ok?
