@@Ciac18 You cast a ray, the ray give you the position of the ground, you use the position to make an Inverted Kinematic target for your leg. TADA! You measure if the last position is too far from the newest ray position, and move your leg to the New position if the condition is checked.

You should really check the distance between the two positions and not only X, Z, because I saw it bugged. Also how do you do such a smooth motion?

This system generally is very messy and buggy. To achieve smooth motion I use interpolation

Could you make a tutorial for dealing with obstacles? Like small rocks etc. to avoid clipping and let the leg stand on top of the rock. Would be nice to detect the angle of the obstacle to potentially induce slipping mechanic haha

К сожалению код у меня не сохранился, а для текущего проекта такая система не нужна, поэтому я вряд ли буду её воссоздавать(

did you used Control Rig for this? how did you manage the multi join ik?

I dont have project files anymore but I believe I used FABRIK for every limb separately

@@VladUberhenriK I am going to check it because with the skeletal mesh provided now by epic I did manage to use the IK for the legs with multiple basic IK nodes, but is kinda a mess
