其實許多廟宇剛建成時都是彩度最高飽和度最深的時候, 而人類天性對於鮮豔的色彩容易產生視覺審美疲乏. 但別忘了這些廟宇不是放在博物館中展示而是必須風吹日曝的座落在露天環境中, 只要經年累月之後在空氣中才會慢慢褪色洗刷成為較為舒適的色彩(也就是我們所熟悉的傳統色), 這座廟宇才算是真正大功告成. 這是為了適應台灣北部濕氣重, 南部風沙大的一種工藝上權衡.

我個人認為，台灣的廟宇及古建築傳統的建築工法因為成本人事的短缺慢慢消失是對文化非常危險的方向，加上信仰普及化，地方都能在經濟可許下使用相關作法省時省力，產業的轉型固然方便，但是如同日本將神社視為信仰中心，依然保持古蹟修復及傳統工法的技術延續，台灣的古建築正在慢慢消失…

That was so awesome to watch and love Fuda Temple always so colourful , This is a great use of modern technology and materials to create something or improve upon temples or structures built in years gone by. Reminds me of new temples in Thailand most are now built using steel and casts. Its really clever I think adapting to modern times but still keeping history and culture going for the next millenium
