I think for a good Berserk adaption the anime would need to be darker, in a very literal way. Every page in the manga is filled with lots of shadows and grimness, and if you think about it that plays a huge role in the whole atmosphere of Berserk.

Miura was rough when he started Berserk and eventually improved to where he created much cleaner artwork, which explains why it feels grimy and dark from the beginning. Also, you're wrong, the series isn't entirely dark. There are times where there's calmness and peace so that not only Guts can relax but also the reader before all hell breaks loose again.

@@luisnunez5017 you explained the commenters point. It needs to be dark and grimy in order to contrast with the brighter themes. It's actually a good idea mr. ermactually.

actually i think golden age should be somewhat jolly when it comes to visuals and weather but as soon as it ends it should go to grim shit that's my concept

Thank you! Procreate dreams doesn’t record Timelapse, but I could do a Timelapse of the drawings since I did them on procreate and show how everything looks in the app

Art style is very good in yours, but the shots in the 1997 are better because of better zooming in on the eyes and the symmetry of the sword at the end. More impactful and tense, less videogamey

@@jamesdeene902yeah with the drawings, it was pretty straightforward since I just followed the template of the original, took a bit of freedom with some of the shots but not too far I don’t think
