+im innocent for every single pit bull, their aggression and attitude depends on how they've been raised. If all their life, they were raised and taught that their job was to fight and guard, then they would act that way. Instinct and breeding over time does partially contribute to the way they act, but if they were raised properly, they'd be absolute angels. Just look at the dogs and the videos, they're sweet af.

They also have a high pain tolerance and are hard to disengage once in a conflict with another dog or person. They can be dangerous when the owner gives it human traits and pretends its as harmful as a gerbil. Shelters neeed to stop advertising pits as awesome family dogs who are gentle. They are family dogs who are very gentle, as long as they're raised correctly. You can't let them run over you and get away with anything, they have to know who the boss is. They're very hard headed but can be really great family pets. I have 3 pitties who are all trained (and even do tricks and perform tasks). So yeah, they are great dogs and I'll never not own one.
