And update Lando I sat down with your video, my cheapest lightsaber and the cables you recommend on your adding fonts video. I actually did it😁 added 4 fonts. And for everyone else out there looking to add fonts look up Lando video. I was literally asking everyone in the lightsaber community and everyone was sending me back to Lando Thanks again brother.

God, Proffie is daunting, at least for a simpleton like myself who’s not familiar in the slightest with code. I love my saber though and want to add some fonts by KSith. I’ve watched your videos for a while, I remember the saber buying guide that saved me from the ultrasabers trap lol

Cfx is so easy, Ive put so many on my three Cfx sabers, okay less than you have lol 182 is an impress number. Proffie is a bit harder but I learned it with ur tutorial 👍 awesome job man!

Was planning to buy a Senza CFX for Sabertrio's reopening this morning, but the CFX were sold out almost immediately. So, I've now purchased the Proffie version, and will probably now spend much of my time binging videos on how adding saberfonts works, as I've heard Proffie is much more complicated than CFX. So here I am!

After spending $700 for my saber, I was very dissappointed to discover that it takes so much work just to make the smallest changes. Proffie isn't even remotely user friendly, or at least, not for non technical dum-dums like myself. Thank you for posting the video though.

proffie still confuses me now and then to this day, looking forward to OS6 though, will be a gamer changer! Don't have any experience with CFX but will be next up for sure whenever Sabertrio reopen. Great, video as always Mr Lando!

Any chance you can do a brightness comparison for heavy grade vs mid grade neopixel blades?

There’s virtually zero difference between the two in terms of brightness, unless you’re comparing different brands or different strips (such as a regular pixel strip vs. a KR pixel blade.)

Hi, I purchased a CFX saber from Sabertrio Sept. 2022. I noticed that sound font folders do NOT have leds.txt in them. I purchased a sound font and blade profile from Mountain Sabers Fonts that was for CFX. The blade profile did not work as advertised, not sure if it's because of the leds.txt in the folder? Any suggestions?

I have re named the fount I added the font_config.txt and led.txt files and the soundfont isn't screaming at me now but after the startup I get no sound. why would that be?

I've been wondering for a while, on the Proffie config, what do those words at the end do? For example, whenever they say "white", or "rainbow", I was just wondering since it's been on my mind.

From my understanding, it’s just a way for you to identify what the blade style is. For example, if you put a kylo ren unstable blade style, you can type “kylo” in there so you know what it is. A lot of my blade styles just use random words because I’ll copy/paste styles all the time.

Thanks for a quick go to video on adding sound fonts on CFX (which I have - Sabertrio Vektra weathered neosaber) and Proffie (which I will have as soon as my MoM is shipped - then installed by Jeremy). It will be useful !

Hi! Quick question. ¿How can i tell if my saber is a proffie or a cfx? I´m really confused, since i uploaded a new font to it but the ignition and standard sound while it´s on just dissapeared, and i have no idea what i did wrong.

Where do you recommend for 1" diameter heavy grade blades for non-neopixel sabers? I'm looking for the frosted(?) sort.

I guess I'm fucked. My laptop is so old and works so slow that I don't want to use it. Is it possible to do the soundfont thing using a mobile device like phone? I'm beginning to lean for proffie but what I understood was that CFX is really user friendly BUT it doesn't have as much room for tweaking as proffie. Currently looking to get my first lightsaber but having hard time deciding. I've watched your videos and they've been really helpful! Thanks for them. I think I'd get from Vader's vault, expensive af and it will take a lot of time but I doubt I will get another lightsaber so thats why I wanna be sure I get the right one.
