Hello from Sweden! Love your content! I too am looking at chariots for a local 500p tournament. This one with Easterlings though. Leader: Rutabi 1x Black Dragon Kataphrakt - War drum 6x Easterling Warrior - Shield 7x Black Dragon Warrior - Shield, Pike 1x Easterling Warrior - Shield, Pike, Banner Easterling Captain - Shield 2x Easterling Warrior - Shield 2x Easterling Warrior - Shield, Pike Khandish Chieftain - Chariot 2x Khandish Horseman /500p, 23 models, 2 bow I'm on the fence between taking something like this, or just running a Host of the Dragon Emperor list with Brorgir. I could go either way, but I haven't played much with chariots and I'd like to try one out! The idea is quite simply a wide and solid pikeblock and a chariot with some backup running stuff over. Debating whether to drop the captain to upgrade the chariot to a King and taking some extra horses. I also considered not taking the extra Easterling warband and grabbing more horses instead, but I feel like that compromises the pike block. In that case I'd probably run the Emperor instead of Rutabi, with the extra warrior slots, but at that point my only heroes have massive bases and that might be awkward to play? Not sure honestly. Your thoughts?

My list starts with the Goblin Scribe (I absolutely hate fighting against that guy), then moves to Elessar (who I love as a model, but mine chooses the worst times to quit on me), and then ends with Cave Trolls (mostly because I have to fight 4+ of them regularly and they Hurl into each other's fights).

While the Khand-Isengard looks really interesting, it seems to me like dropping the Uruk-Hai Scouts to pick up 4 more Uruks with shields and a horse for Saruman? Lurtz also looks pretty good in this (I know you lose the gimmick, but you would be able to get that Khandish Chieftain in there, along with a banner when you drop Grima).

It's interesting how pretty much each of you have a model in the game which almost always just doesn't perform; wonder how widespread that is. For me it is Aragorn. I played him recently in the RotK LL and first combat he fluffed his Duel against two Uruks and needed to use a Fate point; second combat he won and then rolled three 2s to wound; third combat he had to use a Might point to kill the second Uruk in order to make his Heroic combat work - and then he fluffed the second combat anyway! Been a similar story in his previous outings for me on the tabletop.

Azog and Bolg are orcs. They should not be higher than fight 5. Let them keep everything else but there is no way they are better fighters than Aragorn and Boromir. Gothmog is Saurons lieutenant and leads the assault on minas tirith along side the witch king and he is appropriately fight 5 because he's an orc! I know it will never change but I wish it would. Also I think the old Thranduil profile is way more appropriate, I don't think he should be the powerhouse that he is.

I would like you to review my List Kingdom of Moria 600p: W1 Balin (Leader) 5x Dwarf Ranger + Throwing Axes, Longbow 2x Dwarf Ranger + Throwing Axes 3x Iron Guard 2x Khazâd Guard W2 Gimli 4x Dwarf Ranger + Throwing Axes, Longbow 3x Dwarf Ranger + Throwing Axes 3x Iron Guard 2x Khazâd Guard W3 Dwarf Ballista W4 Dwarf Ballista 599p / 30 Models / 8 Might / 9 Bows / 21 Throwing Axes! / 2 Ballista Any Advise for optimization or changes appreciated. Wasn't sure if i swap some Rangers with Dwarf Warrior + Shield to balance out the Defence, but i like the Amount of Throwing Axes. I Also tried this List with 2 Dwarf Kings and more Iron Guards, but you really miss the H.Strike. Balin + Gimli just seems the perfect fit with more Might to call H.Move and reroll Ini, which happens once or twice per game. Cheers Guys.

Hey lads! Thought on the shamans and their casting abilities. What if instead of limiting the profile’s ability to cast magic, you instead have a caster level whereby the weaker the caster, the more free resist dice the target gets (heroes or warriors). So a full Istari or Elf Lord would be too powerful for the free dice, but Frank the Goblin is such an egregious caster the target gets 3 free resistance dice. Thoughts? Love the poddy, keep up the good work!

Hello from Canada I've got a Rivendell list I've been thinking about Gil-Galad (Leader) Kings guard w/banner and spear Kings guard w/spears and shields x16 Elrond w/Heavy armour and horse Rivendell Knights x5 Elladan and Elrohir w/bows heavy armour and horses Rivendell Knights x5 998 pts Not sure if this is any good at 1000 I'm looking to play pure Rivendell it should work with Gil-Galad and his warband as the anvil and the other two as the hammer
