I have noticed the same; it's very hard to come up with reason to stay with the B1 in light of the new B10. How many B1's do you have?

I’ve purchased two b10s so far I may opt for two more since they can be used while plugged in so perfect for weddings in my opinion

Glad to see someone gets my rather subtle flavor of humor. ;-) I wouldn't buy this light solely for it's ability as a video light but if you need a strobe and don't want to carry an additional constant light it's a great solution. It seems to me that they built this light with "hybrid shooters" in mind, it's nice to have a light that can work well for stills and video. The price of the B10 is $1595 as a single light kit and $3195 in a two light kit.

Tough choice! If you have recent cameras/lenses and don't need the camera for a very specific purpose light will make a much bigger difference in your photography. 😃

Are you using the Profoto TTL-S transmitter? What camera are you using?

Good question, for me they both have their place. If I were starting now I would go for the B10 Plus instead of the B1x I still like having the standard B10 though because of it's small size. The only real downside to the B10/B10 Plus vs the B1x is that the former lights can't support the weight of larger softboxes over 4 feet on the long side and have a narrower light spread.

Not 'fan boy' as much as the logic of an AD 200 at 1/5th the price (and less size/weight) - you can create a 4 light kit- with a 'spare' (since the Profoto 'fanboys' will tell you how Godox is not reliable!)

Agree, I am sick of seeing "Godox, Godox, Godox". Speaking from someone who has tried flashpoint, Orlit, and Godox, and who has sold it all because I realized it was all disposable lighting. Don't believe me, try getting it repaired or selling back to Adorama or B&H. They will only buy back Profoto and Broncholor...they will not buy back their own store brand but will buy back the quality, repairable items. The only lighting I keep in my bag now is Profoto, a couple of Westcott Ice-lights, and three Nikon SB-910s. Yes it is expensive... but dependable, quality, and serviceable items that I could not get with the Chinese knockoffs. Tho, they severed their purpose for a while.

this is a quite compelling light. Clearly the price is ridiculous but it's unique, that is, until Godox produces an version. They already did with the A1 and clearly the Pro400 and. Pro600 are incarnations of the Broncolor L line.
