Is there no rinse mode? How do you get the soap water mixture completely out of the carpet?

Wouldn’t you just use clean water with no solution after? That’s what I do.

Pretty cool, as well as I remember this machine without the MAX Clean mode, but Do you have to actually pull the trigger on the handle, with the machine reclined, in order to let the solution spray out of the Cleanshot nozzle for pretreating specific stains, or is it automatic?

The trigger on the handle sprays the solution out of the main nozzles in front of the brushes. The clean shot feature is activated when you step on the foot pedal and you have to step on it again to turn the stream off. I don't really use the clean shot feature too often, if I have a bad spot ill just spray carpet cleaning solution on it first and let it sit for 15 minutes before I start the main cleaning process. I assume it has to be reclined since I have never tried pressing the trigger or pedal while upright

Why does the roller not stop when it is in the upright position? My old Bissell did. Also rollers do not stop when the hose is used? So if you need to use this for an extended period of time with hose, you will basically tear up your carpet or whatever surface it is sitting on? How to avoid damage to floors? Bissel, you just didn't think this one through. Please explain a solution to this issue. Can you sit it in the cleaning tray dry (without adding water to clean it) while using hose so rollers don't constantly spin and hit the floor?

I used the hose and later I found out that the rollers don't work anymore

Did anybody figure this out? The rollers spin on mine too when I am using the hose. Also the hose is not spraying the solution properly.

Front belt probably broke or stretched. Take front cover off. Drive belt can be seen on right side. Take screw out and side cover can come off to access the belt.

Would not recommend, motor burnt out after a few years. Worked decent but for the price ($300+) it did not last long enough.

This carpet cleaner, instead of reducing my workload, creates additional work. It does a decent job washing and pulling the water back. However, I've noticed that it scatters lint, hair, etc., all over the carpet. I had to follow up my carpet wash with a thorough vacuum using another machine, as this one hesitates to pick up the torn-out stuff.

Bissell, built to break. Why would you make the trigger in the handle from all cheap plastic. Broke with in a month of owning. To activate the water function the trigger is in the handle. The design is, you squeeze the trigger and it puts Downward pressure on a plastic rod that in turn pushes the water valve. Problem is the trigger is supported by cheap plastic pins. Which broke on ours almost immediately. I was able to replace the trigger with a metal one. The power button also stopped working right away. Imo DO NOT buy this cleaner. You maybe happy when its fresh out of the box, but if you expect it to last a year or more, you maybe sadly disappointed.
