Hey Trevor.. To stop speaker damage from water passing through the door there was a plastic semi circular cover that was fitted to the back of the speaker to deflect water ... didn't see one fitted... another way was to glue plastic sheet to the mounting board above the speaker to help keep any water off the speaker... Getting closer to Start Day 👍🏻

Think we are neck and neck on how we’ve been doing things lol. Managed to pick up the original steel speaker brackets for my front doors that matched all the contours of the door, but dropped me down to the 5 inch speaker size. Definitely would suggest the foam speaker baffles. Adds that extra layer of protection for the door speakers. Would love to get your opinion on doing a dual pressure and temp combo for the coolant system in the effort of keeping tabs on any unseen leaks like head gasket failure or things like that.

G'day Mate, I think they are a good thing, particularly if you are pushing the limits of the engine. Honestly the more sensors you can fit, the greater chance you have of catching an issue before it becomes a catastrophic failure. I am using one on my setup here. Cheers Mate.

Crazy to see mdf used. I'm interested to see if there is any contact or buzzing between the outer grill and the inner plastic web, you may need to add fabric back to prevent that. Looking good Trevor Cheers

Thanks Mate, yes mdf doesn't like moisture hey. I guess i'll see with the speakers, it looks like the fabric was installed in the manufacturing process, I honestly dont think it would be possible to do a decent job of replacing it. Hopefully it'll be fine. Cheers Mate.

Love the vid Trev. I'm gonna be running 2 pumps like you. Can you make a vid on the parts you used on the fuel pump controller and the wiring setup. I'm newb when it comes to electrics.

Yes, I would only recommend attempting it if you were on your A game. I have wired quite a few cars & installed probably 1/2 dozen Engine management systems & it still does my Friggin Head In. Plus I have all the Gear to do it. Its one of those jobs where everything has to be perfect or it'll come back to haunt you. Cheers Mate. 😃@@hakinen4000
