In part 12 we reveal the cause of some erratic steering issues and take apart some steering components showing their age and 230,000 plus miles of wear and tear. Come along as we replace the tie rod ends, steering center link, steering damper, and show some tips and tricks for removing tie rod ends with brute force and a sizeable fork!

You should’ve done the steering idler arm bushings too!

In retrospect, probably should have done them at the same time. Visual inspection showed no real wear issues, but that deep in a project was the perfect time to make the repair. Thanks for watching the channel and the comment. Hope you enjoy the videos.

Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words. Not yet is the simplest reply. I searched for a set of seats for almost a year and was lucky enough to find a match pair in south Florida in mint and near mint condition. Working on an interior episode and the seats will definitively be included. Thanks for watching and sharing the love of these amazing cars.

hi. where is the EGR Valve located! can you please make a video on how to remove it and clean it? can't find it on my 97. it is obvious to find on the 95 in fornt of the engine passenger side behind the fuel rail. or behind the engine in some cars if the throttle body is located down back there. but I don't seem to find it on the 97! my throttle body is in the middle of the intake manifold just like yours. help!

Thanks for watching the channel and leaving a comment. I haven’t had to change the EGR valve on Iona to date nor any emission system components. I’ll keep it in mind and point it out on Iona and other projects in the works for the channel. Thanks again for watching.
