(To the video maker - & anyone else with an opinion!) Do you think it made a difference who *made* the statement? - i.e. it sounded like a pair of young(ish) people, = 1 man and 1 woman. ..and that they very well could've been doing this for Uni, or similar?

Calling some one beautiful is very powerful but I think needs to be done with a bit more caution because it can be very positive for the individual or very negative. For example, if someone has worked hard on their appearance for the day, they will take being called beautiful as a compliment, it will be very positive. However, if someone had a rough morning, did not have time and decided to go out knowingly below their typical standards this can risk to be received negatively. Also, if some one has very low self esteem they may not believe you and it will only add to their problem. So, I can absolutely understand why some people took these words so negatively and I feel very sorry for them as it has most likely harmed them further.

Yeah man like this after all is just a project. Whether the person doing the experiment or project really saying it honestly or not we cannot 100% sure. I am all for the positive or good things but dealing with even just a handful of people then saying them straight up just beautiful might effect them differently. You can tell some of them have a gesture or micro expression of not being happy and some of them really look down and kinda sad or feel empty after hearing it.
