This 7-inch field monitor is a great solution if you need to quickly reference what your camera is capturing. It's loaded with features that will help you with composition, exposure, focusing, and color capture. It has a built-in battery that makes it very versatile for on the go use. The price point of this monitor is what makes it a great choice given the pro features that are built into the monitor.

Is this Monitor still available? I can't seem to find it? How is the screen measured on the DC 5.5? Diagonal? Really great video. Thanks for posting!

Hi Adrian, thank you for this very good review. I don't know if you mentioned it, maybe i missed this. Does this monitor displays the same screen from my camera? For example the face or eye detection which is displayed on my Sony. I think every field monitor should so this? I hope so, to get exactly the same monitoring as on the camera display. Thank you for answering, regards.

Thank you for your kind feedback! The diffuser is a Scentsy Diffuser. My wife is a consultant for Scentsy. You could take a look at their product offering at glamscents.scentsy.us/ She's also on IG if you want to connect with her there instagram.com/glamscents/

Hi, great review! Just one thing, the reason you are not getting any audio through the hdmi on the 80d is probably because you were in photo mode. You don't need any sound for photos, right? So if you switch to video mode you will probably get an audio feed. Anyways, thanks for the great review!

IT is advertised as a touch screen on Amazon. Can you control a Canon 5D IV with the touch screen?

Hey there, I clicked on your link to the product...the item shown is not this one....it does not have an HDMI out on it. Wrong link maybe, or company changed it? Also do you know NIT value for screen?

It looks like the mfg has made some changes. Based on the photos it seems that the new touch screen version has the hdmi pass through option. Here's the link amzn.to/3pUDjOc

Blablablablabla... I'm sorry, but although you do a good job of showing the product and the features, I had to skip through most of this review. It's clear you put some work into this and it looks good, but the thing is this: When I am looking to evaluate a monitor to find out what I want to buy, I don't need a several minutes long explanation of what a centre mark is. Also, a 16 minute summary with final remarks? Really? You could have said the same with far fewer words. Every minute of the viewer's time is precious, and if you spend two minutes just to say "it can be used directly out of the box" we're going to skip. I don't need you to explain for five-ten minutes how you like to use a monitor in your KZfaq setup either - it's not what I'm here for. The same goes for why it's good to have a larger screen - duh. Or that both a photographer and a videographer could use a monitor. DUH! Or that more expensive, high end monitors exist. DUH!!! What you have to say about this actual monitor completely drowns out in irrelevant information. It's very hard to pick out the relevant parts in between the snooze. So by saying more you are actually conveying less. You should spend more time planning how to be precise, relevant and concise. Instead of spending all that time talking and editing.

I appreciate the time you took to provide feedback. My goal is to provide value to both beginner and intermediate people who might be interested in the product I am presenting. People with expert knowledge in a particular product are not typically the ones that would be seeking an unboxing and review on KZfaq. The points you make speak directly to the two audiences that normally find my video's helpful, beginner and intermediate. While some talking points may be obvious to some people, it's often a point of interest for others. I almost always talk about how I use the product to provide context on what my opinions are based off of. Also, another point of value that I try to provide is that some products are not documented very well. Some products have badly written instruction manuals. To help mitigate those issues, I always try to include basic operation of the unit (how-to). Hopefully you found some value in my video. If not, there are other great reviews of this monitor on KZfaq.
