As you folks know, I do a lot of my recordings directly into my computer as if I was streaming on twitch or something. So being able to see what each camera is doing on a small monitor is pretty awesome when you aren't able to see them on the streaming software, not to mention they stay up all the time, so checking for weird stuff in your beard hair, making sure the camera cant see that you are filming in your underwear (I swear that has never happened... As far as I can remember...) You know, those important details. I have been thankful to have my 7" Lulliput screen but wanted a second one for another view of my screen. This TimbreCOD screen popped up on Amazon for a pretty decent deal and I figured I would give it a shot. I have often learned that "aftermarket" stuff on amazon may actually turn out to be pretty good and I personally think this is one of those items. Pretty dang heavy in a good high quality way and then some. Also I didn't see much in the advertising about if it had features like focus peaking, or different meters, or especially false colors, so it was completely a gamble purchase on my part. Also the fact that it mentioned that resolutions of the screen were 1920X1200 and yet it was a 4K screen, it made the theory a bit more interesting to test it out and make a video on. So if you like solving mysteries you will probably enjoy this video. If not I hope some of the other videos on here might inspire some other areas of interest for you. I personally love the monitor in the end and ended up swapping out my Lulliput and put this Timbercod in its place.
As of the making of this video here are some of the production tech and music tech I use.
