To me, THIS IS THE MOST BADASS truck ever. HPI was my Jam back in like 2002, hitting the skate parks with a nitro 2.1.. EVERYONE was like wtf is that thing.. so awesome. THEN THIS BEAST came out!!! unreal, almost bought one last year. Glad you guys have one still. EDIT: Last Savage I had was the 25. Sold it for way to cheap.... :(

I remember a few wipe outs at the skate park. One landed on its handle roll bar when it had it built in, bent it bad and ended up chipping off one of the cooling fins on the motor.. started right up after, kept bashing. HPI was the best!

By far the best basher ever built! Didn’t realize how much I missed this unit untill I pulled trigger in this new one! Sooo happy!

Picked one of these up myself for cheap but did the integy 17mm adapters. Running a set of big joe 2s on mine. Great video. 👍

Mine came with 17mm. I thought I had to upgrade the hex to run 17mm but nope I was surprised my src terrain crushers bolted right up. The crushers are heavier than stock wheels but I can't tell this thing rips half throttle this thing stands up on back tires😊

I’m running gens ace 8000mah 3s 100c lipos in stock trays bud just remove the lid via the screws you did and Boom ☺️☺️ runtime for days can’t wait for your next lipo test build this was wicked

Ah yes! Great choice! Eliminator rc is bringing some in but too late for me lol. Gonna tig up some stainless battery boxes before spring though with this beast! Brings back so many good memories from 20 years ago!!

This is the problem with hpi, they keep re-releasing old cars without a single improvement, i used to like them a lot but the last one i bought from was the venture (it is still an awesome crawler as good or better than newer ones) but unless they actually release something actually new I'm just gonna keep my old cars

Yeah, there’s no point replacing him if they’re not changing him, I fully agree and the HPI venture is a bad ass, 10th scale crawler for sure!

I don't get how hpi is still in business, every review I watch of their "new" stuff everything looks so outdated and have numerous problems

They keep getting bought up by all these companies that have big visions for the future of HPI but it never seems to work out. There is a lot of things they could have changed on this truck, or just waited and released the V2 that is about to come out, and just let this one alone sitting in its grave.
