Arriving in Prontera City, Capital of Rune-Midgarts, Mr. poring enjoys the hustle and bustle of the big city with players going about their daily lives and preparing for WoE. Enjoy a 1 hour long version of "Theme of Prontera" with in game ambience, gameplay and FLAC quality audio.
I have always thought that the ambience of the maps and other players skill sounds add to the atmosphere of the game.

My dad worked overseas for 1-2 years and only came home for 1-2 months. My two sisters, me, and my dad would hang out in our favourite computer shop and play this for hours every day until he left again for work. That was 20 years ago. I still open one of my accounts sometimes and walk around, hoping to find him in the crowd. Wherever you are, dad, I miss you, and we miss you.

I love RO, but its a "dead" game. I wish someone make a "Palworld" version of Ragnarok Online (but more focus on combat) , its necessary to revive the franchise.

@@mwss3507 Gravity already tried to create two sequels to Ragnarok but both failed. Then they made the mobile game which is highly popular (unfortunately the mobile game sucks because it play by itself)

THIS is probably the most insane BGM ever in any History of MMO IF there ever be an oscar for best town BGM, this is it The nostalgia here is overwhelmingly insane. nothing can ever replace this MMO, NOTHING! i am so glad i get to live and grow up in the Ragnarok era, i am so luckkyy to played RO at it's highest!

this game was soooo AWESOME!!! Spent 2 years of my life in this (daily 6+ hours) when I was a teenager (~15-17 years) and I don't regret anything!!! Best time of my life!!!!

Back in 2003, In Philippines RO, Chaos server, sometimes there are more than 30k players online specially in War of Emperium event. You will have difficulty logging in on that server and you have no choice but to play your other characters from a different server. LOL. That is how big the community in Philippines RO back in the days. I made so much friends and memories from my guild mates. I wish I can go back in time. RO will forever be in my heart 😢

I was 22 when I started playing this game in 2002. Now here I sit, a 44 year old man whose youth is long gone. I'm growing old and I miss those days. My dad and childhood friend that I played iRO with passed away 2 months apart in 2015. I'm just trying to hold on and not become a statistic, but it's hard. I'm not sure if old memories like this hurt or help.

this game might have tons of problems and shortcomings in today's MMO. but god damn this game has special place in my heart, and I always keep at least 1 ragnarok server in my PC just in case some heavy nostalgia happened.

Well well well! Gone are those days! Those memories and nostalgia. This is may save port and where I cursed a lot because of refining. Made a lot of companions here. The feeling where you are excited to play this after school. BEST MMORPG ever created!

Indeed. I played other online games with friends long time back, like RF Online, but the nostalgia didn't hit as hard as hearing prontera's theme. Man... RO's game music was amazing.

It's 2024 and I can still imagine my characters roaming Prontera, looking for good items, vending, forging weapons, upgrading armors, making friends & enemies in PVP rooms, boss hunting, looting even jellopies, using /gg, /heh, /sit! I can still remember opening lots of old blue box, using lots of dead branches. How I wish I could go back in time and still play with nothing on my mind; no bills, no deadlines, no stress from work, no pressure. This game made my childhood worth remembering.

I never got to play this back on the day, I was too young back there to even pay for it, let alone play it, and yet, just by playing a bit on a private server last year, I was really hooked for a while on it despite going solo, I have almost no time playing this and yet, Prontera's theme feels nostalgic as hell to me! Sad to say that I can't play this as much as I would like, life is busy as all hell, but a friend is going over seas, maybe I could get him and a couple more to try it as a way to stay in contact beyond just chats.

I remember when i was kid 2002 i played this game. And in indonesia the GM create event roan and yufa. Like play hide n seek, we must find the main character GM as ROAN or YUFA. If we found them, we have to enter the password for get into chat box. If we can, we will win prize from GM. OCA, OPB, OBB, GB. Ohhhhh my childhood is beautiful.

Ginagawa ko nang music pampatulog para sa mga anak ko ang Prontera, Morroc at Payon themes.. Gustong gusto talaga nila kasi madali sila nakakatulog. Ako naman maraming memories ang narerecall ko habang nakahiga at pinapakinggan ko ang mga songs. Salamat sa memories Ragnarok..😢😢😢

Reminded me the most memorable time I had with my friend going to that cave (don't remember the name) where there are apes with slingshots. Then came the boss monster Abysmal Knight. Both of us were assassins. I knew our dodges wouldn't keep us alive so I started running away, but my friend stayed and said "no worries, see me with my new Cloaking skill". Yea that day we learned we couldn't hide from it 🤣🤣we were laughing a lot afterwards. Good old days in high school.

Back then, no healing npc.. you have to sit to recover h.p while watching other player farming. Back then, some priest sell their heal for mp potion.. some just so nice to heal everybody and i remember other character will chat "+++" infront of priest to get some bless, heal, increase agility and assumptio. Some of my friend that play this game already pass away.. i really miss those days.. no words can describe it.. i am grateful to be one of the generation that play this game at its prime
