I mean, they also announced a sequel for it which always triggers curiousity about the previous entry. As soon as people saw that gameplay teaser, I don't doubt they got curious about the original. Hopefully they remove the issue where you take damage during executions (assuming that healing mechanic remains) because that shit is so annoying. You have to execute to regain health yet you take damage the entire time? You're literally surrounded by hordes of enemies at any given encounter. There's almost never a chance to do it that doesn't have you praying you finish the animation before you die. Also, I hope they balance out the weapon damage so it feels like you're actually using bolter guns and not paint ball guns. Even on the normal difficulty, the guns feel so damn useless. I know orks are supposed to be tough but bolters are specifically designed to ignore that yet in the first game, it takes so many shots just to put down one enemy, let alone the wave. Then every single asshole deals so much damage (again, even on normal difficulty) that my armor might as well be 3d printed cosplay. Heck, this might even be a none issue if my guns did the damage they're actually supposed to so I can better manage the horde. *long winded sigh of relief* Outside of those 3 gripes, Space Marine is a near perfect game.

Leandros’s biggest mistake was not following the chapters chain of command and reporting his concerns to the chaplains and allowing the ultramarines to solve matters internally, vs giving the inquisition a reason to scrutinize them.

When Space Marine 2 is revealed to be in development, and everyone is returning back to Space Marine. I feel like my 18 year old self again when the game came out. And I'm still an enormous nerd for the game. But even more so, I'm looking forward to SM 2 because it now features the Tyranid Horde as the primary antagonist. And I so look forward to how Focus Entertainment does it. I got Space Marine: Boltgun (the Doom styled WH40k game that takes place after Titus' actions on Forgeworld Graia) and boy did they do a good job. Daemons, Chaos Marines, Cultists, the weapons are true to the design and nature of the lore and game, and the enemies look like the enemies you'd see on the tabletop. So yeah, I have high hopes for Focus Entertainment and their development, taking up the sword that Relic threw before they bankrupted into non-existence.

4:33 well thats actually totally on mark for the Orks. Warboss is the biggest, baddest, nastiest, most krumptastic ork in the WAAAGH. All other orks basically follow him like a bunch of fans, so once you krump him all his boyz feel like their amazing pillaging and raiding trip just got busted and lose will to fight, or at least to fight in organised manner, fleeing for the hills until a new Warboss arises.

Sanginius is Blood Angels. Blood Ravens' founding is shrouded in mystery. They have no idea whom they were founded from or who their founder was, or why they even exist.... Hence why they're kleptomaniacs for artifacts and holy relics.
