I don't think that there is anything wrong with chain prayers, actually some call them prayer watches, you just join when you can and carry on with your business. I have never seen a church that forces people to attend all sessions. Some churches dedicate 10hrs once a month so its not a daily thing like Makandiwa alludes too. To be honest, Zigo, some of these things you will only understand them wasangana nazvo. These kind of prayers are needed when dealing with extreme cases of witchcraft for example or urgent issues where you really need God's intervention. What Makandiwa is doing now is like encouraging his congregation to depend on his prayers yet munhu should be praying on their own.
