I ordered a set of Prorock 60s June 26th. I have a feeling I won’t have them till the end of the year if not early next year. I’m also waiting on a teraFlex long arm upgrade. But everything else is in and ready other then we will need measurements before we can order driveshafts. I keep watching this as I wait on my parts to ship.

I get the axle is going to get scratched, but them using those jack stands without rags is killing me. I already see circle scratches. Let me do the scratching on my own vehicle. Lol. Looks great though.

Stock 60 rears are junk. A rear 60 is a 3/4 ton axle. A 70 is a 1 ton axle. 14 Bolt for $150 all day 👍

So I've read on forums that the axles can break on 40s. And since I'm trying to run the same setup as you on my jk (coilovers tons and fodees) I'd like to know your experience with them. TIA. Nice video btw very streamlined and clean 🤘

I know guys running 40’s on built dana 44’s, on tons you’ll be fine. So far I’m loving my setup. I need to tweak some things here and there but overall it’s been amazing. Thank you for watching

From other videos I've watched they installed the lift wrong . Coming from John Carrie him self you snug up all components then you let the jeep rest on its own weight then tighten everything . If you don't it puts all the bushings in the wrong spot . It wears everything out faster and doesn't track right.

You never answered my question glad you like my comment because I got the same equipment as you basically actually I think I do I get all the same equipment as you do and just to refresh your memory I asked if you had to do any welding for your king shock installation, did you have the wheel the shop towers did you have to cut any brackets on your pro rock 60’s

My bad, towers can bolt on or weld on and no you don’t have to cut any brackets on the pro rock 60s but you will need install the evo rockstar rear skids. Evo makes them specifically for the pro rock 60s.

are you running stock 3.6L engine? what about trans and transfer case? did you upgrade the steering box/pump? how is the drive different from before, noise/mpg/handling ? looks awesome

Hi I’m thinking of getting the 72.5 inch dynatrac dana 60 axle set for my 2018 2 door rubicon to run 40s and I want to know if these wide axles affect the installation of mods like lift kits, shocks...etc Love your vids btw keep up the good work And also how much lift do you think I need to run 40s on my 2 door up with the dana 60s And can you also please tell me everything I need to upgrade after getting new axles and 40 inch tires I would really appreciate your expertise

+region015 thanks man! Yes, trimmed front and rear rock rails and trimmed a little on the inner rear corners, furthest rear corners. On my update vid you’ll see what was trimmed. If you google evo double D Pro kit, you’ll see the suspension system I’m running. I have pics on Instagram too. @jeeparmyusa

i'm starting my mod journey soon, I was wondering was this upgrade done for the re-gearing and articulation for off-roading? Also, can you tell me what type of shock's you use and How much did it set you back? I'm about to do my first mod with 37's , with a 3.5 lift.

Nice! The axles came pre geared for 40’s (5.38 gears). The suspension is an evo double d pro suspension system that comes with king shock coil overs. It’s a great system for on and Offroad use. Plenty of flex and would work great for 37’s.

Definitely. These axles are more than enough to run 40” tires. This design has been around for well over 2 decades. They are tried and true. I could have gone bigger or junkyard axles but I feel those are just boat anchors and too heavy. I also question the metallurgy on other axles and where they source their metal from.

I hear you. I’ve done my fair share of driveway installs and understand the fulfillment of doing everything yourself, however in this case, it’s nice to have friends that own a shop and someone has to film these vlogs (me). I’ve also had to film and wrench as well, it’s not as fun and creativity in filming goes down. Thanks for watching!

Mines gotta be a daily driver for now how’s those tires on the road ? currently have toyo 37’s which are great but heavy looking for more of an aggressive look

On the road they’re good too. The noise is minimal. I’ve had these in 37’s and now 40’s. My buddy Nate had them in 35’s and liked them. I can’t complain about road noise. Easy to balance too.

I feel like you can’t go wrong from either one. Generally I heard mostly positive from all three tire makers.
